7 INSTRUCTION i-glide - i-glide small 1.85 mm incision size 2.2 mm - i-glide medium 2.2 mm incision size 2.85 mm - Single use cartridges, sterile - For lens implantation - Open cartridge and inject visco ensuring no bubbles get entrapped in the cartridge lumen. - Place lens into cartridge ensuring that the whole lens is seated in the grove created by the open wings of the cartridge. - Shut the wings while taking care that no part of the lens gets trapped between the wings. Visually confirm this. i-ject - Disposable - Titanium - Injector - For lens implantation - Remove injector from the pouch and visually inspect the same. Ensure smooth movement of the plunger. - Align the back of the cartridge with the injector mouth and press in firmly. - Once the cartridge locks in place, visually check if the silicon tip of the plunger is aligned with the aurifies of the cartridge. A port has been provided to visualise this. - Press the plunger in one smooth slow motion till the lens is inside the lumen. Check during this time that no excessive force is required as this may be an indication of the lens having been trapped between the wings or the plunger tip has overridden the lens. If this is the case, do not proceed further. Check loading process again. Now enter the eye and press the plunger till the lens comes out fully and disengages from the cartridge.
