3 Introduction Airbus DS Geo is a world leader in earth observation satellite imagery A unique portfolio of optical and radar satellites over a wide range of resolution including: Spot-6&7 (owned by Airbus DS), Pléiades-1A&1B (owned by CNES), Spot-5 (owned by CNES and disabled on the 31 st of March 2015 more than 11 millions images acquired covering 42,6 billions sqkm of terrestrial area - 80 million sqkm covered by Elevation 30) TerraSAR-X and TanDEM-X (Public Private Partnership between DLR and Airbus DS).
