Made of Yak, Camel and Sheep wool, sustainably sourced from the highlands of Mongolia, it traps warmth and insulate during fresh and wet weather. Yak wool is in a league of its own for performance, environmental impact, and sustainability. It is warmer, softer and more breathable than any other kind of wool. Camel wool is an extremely soft fiber with a highly luxury touch. Our sheep wool is of a special quality, with a rare soft cashmere touch. All our fibers are natural by-products and they are collected from animals that are allowed to roam freely. By using these fibers and paying a fair price, we provide a reliable source of income that helps to alleviate poverty and social disadvantages for Mongolian herders. The following steps of our supply chain happens in Nepal, where the fiber is transformed by hand spinning into yarn and used for hand knitting or crochet products. Kam For Sud works in Nepal for more than 20 years in humanitarian aid and development cooperation; this ecologic, sustainable collection provides fairly paid jobs for Nepalese women and men.
