Three men with spinning wheel knowledge and skills, a pile of wood, and some very expensive tools make three great wheels in a week. There will be NO meeting with Beth Hines on November 22!

2 Due to all sorts of delays, illness, miscalculations, and all in all just how life goes, the newsletter is late, and I apologize. The minutes weren't able to be included this month. They should be ed to you in an addendum before the meeting, or at the very least there will be paper copies supplied for all members at the next meeting. I will also bring printed copies of the newsletter. Possible Guild workshops for Your workshop commi.ee is seeking interest- level comments on two possible workshops. The mechanics of your spinning wheel Amy Tyler This workshop would cover the parts of your spinning wheel and how different yarns can be made by simple adjustments to your wheel. Different fibers are provided so you can see how they react as you make adjustments. Suffrage in S8ches Katherine Durack This workshop would introduce you to Women s fight for PoliDcal Voice. It is a look at and the crochet sdtches that allowed women to idendfy each other via the sdtches they incorporated into their apparel. Spinzilla 2016 Results are in! 5,507,622 yards of yarn spun!
