Sew two 2 ½ abric squares and two 2 ½ abric squares together to make one strip. Sew this strip to the right side of the Penguin panel. Sew five 2 ½ abric squares and five 2 ½ abric squares together to make one strip (two square by five square matrix). Sew this strip to the top of the Penguin panel to make the Penguin block. Press the Turtle onto the 12 ½ x 8 ½ abric H strip. inish the raw edges of the Turtle with a decorative stitch such as a buttonhole or satin stitch to make the Turtle panel. 10. Sew four 2 ½ abric squares and four 2 ½ abric squares together into a two by four matrix. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew one strip to each side of the Turtle panel. Sew five 2 ½ abric squares and five 2 ½ abric squares together, alternating them, to make one strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Turtle panel to make the Turtle block. Rotate the bottom strip 180-degres. 11. Sew the three blocks together to make top. Turtle 1 To make the back envelope flaps, turn under the 24 ½ edge approximately ¼, press and repeat to make a finished edge on one edge of the 13 ½ x 24 ½ abric piece.
