You will also need: 46 x 52 batting, fusible web, threads to match, scissors, straight pins, acrylic ruler, rotary cutter and mat. 3

Block ssembly 1. ollowing the manufacturer s instructions, trace the listed number of each template onto the paper side of the fusible web. Roughly cut out each template about 1/8 outside the drawn lines. D 2. Press each template onto the wrong side of the fabrics as listed on the templates. ut out each template on the drawn lines. 3. Refer to the igure 1 to arrange and press the twenty-two 3 circles, thirty-two 2 circles, four Scroll 1 components, four Scroll 2 components and one tree trunk onto the 30 ½ x 36 ½ abric D strip. H L L L H H L H L B ig inish the raw edges of each shape with a decorative stitch such as a buttonhole or satin stitch to make the enter Block. 4

5 Quilt Top ssembly (ollow the Quilt Layout while assembling the quilt top.) 5. Sew one 1 ½ x 36 ½ abric strip to each side of the enter Block. Sew one 1 ½ x 32 ½ abric strip to the top and to the bottom of the enter Block. 6. Sew one 3 ½ x 38 ½ abric strip to each side of the enter Block. Sew one 3 ½ abric square to each end of one 3 ½ x 32 ½ abric strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the enter Block to make the quilt top. 7.
