Advising Export Trading, the main shareholder in Shanta Retail, which owns a stake in Choppies, a supermarket chain listed in Botswana and South Africa, in structuring a fixed term trade marks licensing arrangement with Ukwala Group and Ukwala Supermarkets, a leading supermarket chain in Kenya. Representing Godrej Consumer Products, an Indian company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange in India, in the acquisition of over 400 trade marks in Kenya from Strategic Industries, including drafting and negotiating the IP Transfer and Licence Agreement. 3
