5 Key Historical Facts The company was founded. Two projects in development totaling 90,000 sq.m Michael Belton, President of Storm Properties, won the Professional of the Year award in the Project Development nomination at the first Annual National Building Awards Storm Properties was nominated as a finalist for the Office Real Estate award at the 2007 Annual National Building Awards. Storm Properties became the first developer in Russia certified in accordance with the international quality management system ISO 9001:2000. In September 2007 a controlling stake of the company was purchased by PIK Group, one of Russia s leading residential developers, listed on the London Stock Exchange, the RTS and MICEX exchanges in Russia Storm Properties was nominated as a finalist for the Developer of the Year award at the first Annual Russia & CIS Premier Real Estate Awards. Michael Belton, President of Storm Properties, was nominated as a finalist for the Person of the Year award at the 2008 Commercial Real Estate Awards. Storm Properties won the Deal of the Year award at the 2008 Commercial Real Estate Awards Alliance of PIK Group, the largest residential real estate developer, and Storm Properties, the leading commercial real estate developer Today, Storm Properties is one of the most reliable development companies on the Russian market. It is one of a few companies which foresaw the recent crisis and prepared themselves for tough times in advance. The company s project portfolio currently consists of 600,000 sq.m. of various property types Michael Belton, President and a shareholder of the company, together with top-management, acquired PIK Group s controlling stake in Storm Properties. Kirill Pisarev becomes the new major shareholder and Chairman of Board of Directors of Storm Properties.

The Storm Properties core team has worked together for an average of 8 years and the top management s cumulative real estate experience is more than 50 years.
8 Management 8 Kirill Pisarev Chairman of the Board of Directors Kirill Pisarev is the Chairman of Storm Properties Board of Directors. Mr. Pisarev s cumulative experience in the residential real estate market is more than 15 years. He is one of the founders of PIK Group which is known as one of the largest residential developers in Russia having its shares traded on the LSE, PTC, and Moscow Central Stock Exchange. From June 2009 till May 2010 Mr.Pisarev was the Chairman of PIK Group s Board of Directors. From 1994 till 2009 he was the President of PIK Group and before that from 1992 till 1994 he worked in the banking sphere. Mr. Pisarev is a member of the following governmental and public organizations: Residential Development Council under the Chairman of the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Builders Association of Russia, Moscow Builders Association and others. Michael Belton - President Michael Belton is responsible for strategic management of the company s activities and investor relations. Before establishing the company, Mr. Belton worked as Development Director of CMI Development and managed projects with the total area exceeding 3,000,000 sq.m. Projects included Balchug Plaza, Krylatsky Hills Business Park, Moscow Medical Center, Dream House, and Rublyovo- Arkhangelskoye. Before joining CMI, Mr. Belton worked as the Director of Real Estate Development for Hines International for nine years. Prior to leaving Hines, Mr. Belton successfully developed the Pokrovsky Hills Master Planned Community and the International School of Moscow. Mikhail Kurnev CEO Mikhail Kurnev is responsible for the overall management of the company including managing all issues involved in the development process. Prior to joining Storm Properties Mr. Kurnev worked in Zimco Capital LLC as Managing Partner where he raised capital from private investors, deployed capital in distressed projects in New York and Moscow. From 2003 to 2009 Mr. Kurnev worked in Coalco New York where he held the President position. He was involved in development of multiple residential and mixed-use projects in New York City totaling over 500,000 sq.m. Mr. Kurnev co-managed acquisitions, financing, design, construction and marketing of a number of Manhattan developments.
9 Management 9 Babur Diker Vice President Babur Diker is responsible for overall construction issues. Prior to this, he worked in Magnet Construction Company as Vice President and in Capital Group as Deputy Director of Special Projects. Previously in Russia he worked in CMI Development. Mr. Diker also worked as Assistant General Manager in Troy Group and as Project Manager in Tekser. Mr. Diker's accomplishments include the following projects: Pokrovsky Hills, Borodino residential complex, Krylatsky Hills Business Park, Capital City Project, Ruscam Ufa Bottle Factory, Roto-Frank Production and Administration Buildings. Yakov Geiler Vice President Yakov Geiler is responsible for approval and pre-project preparation issues. Prior to joining Storm Properties, Mr. Geiler was first the Vice President and then the Senior Vice President of CMI Development. Mr. Geiler began his career in 1968 at the Kudinov ceramic blocks factory of Glavmospromstroimaterialy. In 1974 he was invited to the Moscow Region association "Selkhoztechnika" as the Head of the Capital Construction administration. For over 30 years, Mr. Geiler successfully worked on improving agricultural production indexes in the Ministry of Agriculture of Moscow Region. In 1996 Mr. Geiler was appointed Deputy Minister of Agriculture in Moscow Region. Mikhail Smotritsky Vice President & CFO Mikhail Smotritsky manages the financial and investment activity of the company as well as corporate efficiency issues. In July 2007 he joined Storm Properties team from Forum Properties where he worked as the Financial Director of the Development Department. Previously, Mr. Smotritsky worked in Promstroibank of Russia, Tokobank and Kansallis-Osake-Pankki (Finland). From 1995 to 1999, Mr. Smotritsky was the Financial Director of industrial and trade companies. From 1999 to 2005, he served as the Financial Director of Alfa Estate, Region Development and CMI Development holdings.
10 Management 10 Lance Cornils Senior Investment Officer Lance Cornils is responsible for the corporate financial management of the company and investor relations. In 2008 Mr. Cornils joined Storm Properties as a Financial Analyst. During the following 2 years he was promoted first to the position of Corporate Financial Officer and then to the position of Senior Investment Officer. Before joining Storm Properties, Mr. Cornils worked as a Purchasing Manager for jnetx Communications and Commerce. Prior to his arrival to Russia, Mr. Cornils worked for A.E.C. Insulation & Builders in a position of Deputy Financial Controller and Project Manager. Nadezhda Bashbinar COO Nadezhda Bashbinar is responsible for legal, administrative, and human resources departments of the company. Prior to joining Storm Properties, Mrs. Bashbinar worked with PHI Group, a Swiss management company for western funds. With PHI Group, she began as the Head of Real Estate and later served as COO. Prior to joining PHI Group, Mrs. Bashbinar worked as the Head of Analytical Group in GVA Sawyer, one of the international developers and agents. Maria Troitskaya Head of Marketing Maria Troitskaya is responsible for marketing and PR of Storm Properties. Ms. Troitskaya managed the process of implementing the quality management system in accordance with the international standard ISO 9001:2000, which made Storm Properties the first certified real estate developer. Previously, Ms. Troitskaya worked for CMI Development from 2001 till During her time with CMI, she took an active part in launching a number of office, retail, residential, and brownfield projects in the Russian real estate market. Prior to joining CMI, Ms. Troitskaya worked as a residential consultant in the representative office of The Western Group Inc., a US real estate company.
