Our unique experience in technology research and development, design, project management and construction supervision allow for the development of projects in a holistic way using appropriate technology which is environment friendly. Mtonga Construction & civil engineering is a revolutionary, new paradigm approach to long-lasting improvement of human infrastructure. As Mtonga Civil Engineers, we recognize that our works are embedded in complex social, environmental, political and economic systems that require a broader and more integrative approach that has never been formally applied in Civil and Construction Industry in Zimbabwe. Our approach is holistic and unique in nature in the sense that it provides solutions to complex problems that transcend the traditional boundaries of engineering, but are nevertheless amenable to analytic tools such as life cycle analysis, risk analysis and systems engineering. We established Mtonga Construction & Civil Engineering to develop and commercialise what we call 'Intelligent Green Built Environments'. We wish to call this the new paradigm for delivering sustainable civil engineering projects. The organization was formed due to a passion and commitment to deliver green engineering projects which takes into consideration climate change, social needs and economic needs. 5 Introduction Overview Mtonga Construction & Civil Engineering is a Zimbabwean based Civil and Construction Company that delivers 2 interrelated services: i. Designs all range of Civil Engineering projects through incorporating sustainable professional engineering practices. ii. Implements these projects in line with the sustainable designed product in order to deliver sustainable built environments. We strive to build a strong reputation for delivering a quality service, on time, and at a competitive price. We pride ourselves on being skilled and experienced in all aspects of Civil Engineering design and construction. Our commitment to innovation and excellence invariably results in a successfully completed project to the satisfaction of the client. As forward thinkers we support and provide progressive research that contributes to sustainable built environments. We do this through maintaining dialogue with academia and constantly evaluating the way we approach different types of infrastructure projects. We advocate economic design and construction approaches that recognize natural resources and our environment as capital assets. We promote multi-disciplinary, whole system, integrated and multi-objective goals in all phases of project planning, design, construction, operations and decommissioning.
