Join us for a cocktail reception, followed by a seated dinner among unique art pieces in the lobby of the museum. Museo Soumaya possesses the largest collection of works by Auguste Rodin outside of France. Also on display are emblematic works by the French impressionists and examples of nineteenthcentury Mexican portraits and landscapes. The Mexican and European avant-garde movements are represented by artists of the stature of Picasso, Dalí, Tamayo, Siqueiros, and Rivera. Also during the dinner Alfonso Miranda Marquez, Director of Museo Soumaya, will enlighten guests on the museum, as well as the rich culture in Mexico. 3 GOLF TOURNAMENT 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. (9 a.m. Tee Time) September 29 Club Campestre de la Ciudad de México When the San Pedro Golf Club, the first golfing facility of Mexico City, recognized that it was time to create a club better suited for its members, a dairy farm called La Natividad was purchased, located in Churubusco. On October 4, 1905 the San Pedro Golf Club ceased to exist and Club Campestre de la Ciudad de México emerged. Since then Club Campestre has become the quintessential Mexico City golf course, even surviving the ravages of the Mexican Revolution. Today Club Campestre is a beautiful icon with perfectly manicured greens located in southern Mexico City. 7 WHO WE ARE The Association of International Petroleum Negotiators is a professional association, founded in 1981 to enhance the professionalism of cross-border energy negotiators throughout the world. It is now composed of more than 4,300 members in more than 110 countries, representing numerous international oil and gas companies, host governments, law firms and academic institutions. AIPN members come from a variety of disciplines: commercial, technical, academic and legal. The association hosts several quality events each year that provide networking opportunities and provide valuable educational programs and tools. BECOME A MEMBER Active Membership is available to all persons who are engaged in, or who are actively seeking participation in international negotiations work, including students enrolled in a university or institution of higher learning. All members are assigned to one of AIPN s eight regional chapters: Asia; Australia/Pacific; Canada; CIS; Europe/Africa; Latin America; Middle East; and United States. Regional chapters deliver services to its members at a local level. CONTINUING EDUCATION AIPN plays a vital role in the continuing education of its members.
