She grew up in Lee's Summit and I grew up in central MO. I grew up on a farm and we recently bought a 22 acre 'farm' on Hook Road. I am interested in becoming involved in Lee's Summit and getting integrated into the local business community. I am also particularly interested in the Historic Preservation Commission as we have some barns on our property that are eligible for preservation. Other participation: Since we just moved back to the area, I am not currently involved in any organizations in Lee's Summit or the KC area. In Nashville, I was on the board and was the Pro Bono director for the Financial Planning Association of Middle TN.
