2 BIO-DATA: PDG DAVID DAVE M. VILLANUEVA Regional RI Membership Coordinator, Zone 7B (Philippines), District Governor, District 3850, Philippines, President, Rotary Club of Bacolod South, PDG Dave is an active member of the Rotary Club of Bacolod South since November 1981 (100% Attendance since induction), with the classification of Management Consultancy, serving as its President in He served as Governor of RI District 3850 in RY and is Paul Harris Fellow (5-sapphire). During his term as Governor, he facilitated his District s first 3-H (Health, Hunger and Humanity) Grant, 24 Matching Grants and 5 Children s Opportunity Grants for local Clubs and 13 Matching Grants as International Sponsor. He also facilitated the 1 st Concentrated Language Encounter (CLE) Pilot Project in the Philippines, with Pagadian City (Zamboanga Del Sur, D-3850) as project site, and promoted RI Literacy Lighthouse strategy through CLE pilot projects in Marikina City (D-3800), Navotas (D-3800), Malabon (D-3800) Calauag (Quezon, D-3820) and other areas in the Philippines. He has served his District as Rotary Foundation Committee Chairperson ( ), District Trainer and Representative to the 2004 Council on Legislation. He presently serves as the Regional RI Membership Coordinator (RRIMC) of Zone 7B (Philippines), serving the last year of his 3-year term ( ). He previously served as RI Membership Zone Coordinator of Zone 7B ( ) and Vice-Chair of RI Literacy Southeast Asia Subcommittee ( ). He will be a member of the Training Team of the 2008 Governors--Elect Training Seminar (GETS) for Zones 4B, 6B & 7B to be held this October 2008 in Taipei, Taiwan. He is a recipient of the RI Service Above Self Award and The Rotary Foundation Citation for Meritorious Service, two of the most prestigious awards given to individual Rotarians. PDG Dave is a chemical engineer by profession and is engaged in marketing consultancy, market research and trading, specializing in the sugar and its allied industries. He serves as board member of the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (a state-owned corporation under the Department of Agriculture). A product of the La Salle education system, he was the 2006 St. La Salle Awardee of the University of St. La Salle in recognition of his community service work. PDG Dave is happily married to Nena, with two children and a grandson.

Go District Governor, Rotary International, District 3790 Mark Go is the President and Chairman of the Board of Berkeley School, Tasaday Realty and Development Corporation and Artemis Marketing Corporation. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Saint Louis University. He served as Human Resources Director and Procurement & Logistics Director of Texas Instruments Philippines, Inc., Asia Pacific Region for more than 20 years and earned the highest professional award and distinction of Outstanding Personnel Manager of the Year in He worked also as Site Services Director of Cypress Manufacturing Limited with primary responsibilities for Human Resources, facilities, Procurement, Logistics, Security and Safety. Mark graduated in elementary and high school with honors. He was entrance, college and university scholars for several years at the University of the Philippines where he finished his bachelor s degree in Political Science and a master s degree in Management (Business Management) He joined Texas Instruments (Philippines), Inc. in 1981 as Training and Development Manager until his promotion to Human Resources Director in Prior to that, he was Assistant Professor of Management at the University of the Philippines. He, at one time, became head of the Management Program of UP College Baguio. Mark was, likewise, an entrepreneur. He managed a family-owned marketing company prior to joining Texas Instruments. He acted in many occasions as speaker, discussion leader, facilitator, lecturer in various private, educational, government and rotary seminars, institutes, training programs and conferences. Mark was/is involved in various community programs, professional and quasi government organizations. He was National President of the People Management Association of the Philippines in 2007, an organization of Human Resource practitioners nationwide, National Vice President of the Children International Summer Villages, President of the UP Alumni Association, Baguio-Bengeut Chapter Director of the

6 Philippine National Red Cross, Baguio Chapter, Director of the Baguio Water District and John Hay Poro Point Development Corporation and employer s representative to the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board, Cordillera Administrative Region. He was the President of the Rotary Club of Baguio North in It was during his stint as President when his club was recognized as an outstanding club and garnered the first ever centurion award in District He served in various capacities in his club i.e. director, protocol officer, membership, secretary, vice president. He served as District Governor in It was also during his term as DG when D3790 was recognized by Rotary International as one of the top five districts worldwide in terms of membership growth. D3790 s membership increased by more than 1000 members or 63% net increase. He held/is holding several major district and Rotary International positions i.e. District Membership Chair, District TRF Chair, District Trainer, RI Membership Zone Coordinator, RI President s Representative, D3870 and D3800 and Chairman of the Philippine Council of Rotary Governors in Mark is a major donor of The Rotary Foundation. Because of Mark s exemplary personal life, achievements in his profession and outstanding involvement and contributions to the community, he was awarded as Outstanding Citizen of Baguio by the City Government of Baguio and conferred a fellow in Personnel Management by the People Management Association of the Philippines and a Doctorate of Humanities, honoris causa by Lyceum Northwestern University. Mark is married to Sol, also a graduate of the University of the Philippines with a bachelor s degree in Political Science and a masters degree in Public Administration and an entrepreneur. They have 8 children, 6 boys and 2 girls.
