5 Speaker Information Javier Bordes Managing Director, Strategy, EMEA Citi Javier Bordes was appointed Head of Corporate Strategy for Europe, Middle East and Africa in April In this capacity, Javier works with the regional CEO and his operating committee to formulate and communicate the strategy of the region, and leads the implementation of key productivity and growth initiatives. Javier has been a senior member of the Corporate Strategy department since 2008 and has also worked extensively on Group-level projects such as the creation of the non-core Citi Holdings unit. Schneider Electric Corporate Strategy - From Formulation to Execution Anton Kotov works as Corporate Strategy & Development Director for Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, out of company s headquarters in Paris. Over past years, he has been in charge of strategic projects on the group level, global strategy definition, mergers & acquisitions activities, as well as business planning for key countries. Prior to this role, Anton was heading Business Optimisation function for one of the company s business units in Europe. Jon Brown Head of Strategy & Development NSPCC Innovating NSPCC Services to Increase Public Engagement Jon Brown joined the NSPCC as Head of Strategy and Development in 2010 where he is responsible for service, policy and research design and strategy for the organisation s work in the areas of sexual abuse and disabled children (two of seven distinct themes prioritised by the NSPCC). Jon joined the NSPCC from Action for Children where he was Operational Director of Children's Services. He gained a Masters in Social Policy and his Social Work training at the London School of Economics, which followed a First Class degree from Middlesex University. The NSPCC is a major provider of sexual abuse services in the UK. Recent years have seen a significant increase in the level of public awareness and concern about child sexual abuse and this has presented us with the opportunity to engage more directly with local communities to transform this concern into positive action. This talk will give an overview of our strategy and how it is responding and innovating in response to what we have learned from our service delivery and to increased public concerns as a result of recent events; it will ultimately be better aware and informed communities that will reduce levels of child sexual abuse in the UK
