3 I am delighted to welcome you to the Homeclean franchise This is a company that I established with my wife a long time ago in 1984 from my one bedroom flat in Islington, North London. We started with just one telephone and a pack of 500 leaflets, and by the time I had gone out and completed my first ever two hour leaflet drop, I had my first customer enquiry on the answer phone when I returned home. From that moment I knew it was going to be a success, but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that it would grow to be quite this successful. What started out as a simple business working from home grew into a much larger company employing five people in our office, serving over 3,000 customers every week. Yes that s right, every week. We are by far the largest domestic cleaning agency in the UK, and have only just recently looked to expand our national franchising. We ve been completely blown away with the overwhelming demand from all over the UK. How have we managed to achieve all of this? Yes, definitely a lot of hard work, but also by building a wonderful business model and business system, which means we are able to operate a better product than any other domestic cleaning company in the UK. This of course means we are able to make a lot more profit too! We ve spent decades developing a computer based system of managing both clients and cleaners that makes everything so efficient. We have ingenuous marketing methods and cleaner recruitment tools that allow us to attract new clients, and also constantly recruit enough high quality cleaners. We have over 30 year s industry experience at the top of our field. This is all just part of the reason why we are so completely inundated with demand for franchises across the UK. 6 What we do Homeclean provides thousands of cleaners for clients every week. Some of these are regular cleaners, coming to properties at regular intervals, others are one-off bookings. Homeclean caters to them all effortlessly with our fantastic business model. Cleaners can be booked online on our website and mobile site and also by phone. Cleaners can be at a client s properties after only two hours of the booking being made. And our clients state their cleaning requirement with total flexibility. Our business model offers cleaners at a very competitive hourly rate, which is paid directly to the cleaner. Homeclean then charges each client a yearly management fee or a one-off fee for individual bookings. This equates to strong long-term client retention and excellent residual income, making Homeclean the perfect management business, which continues to increase in profitability each year.
