1 DASD Loganville Springfield Elementary School Site Feasibility Review Prepared by: Site Design Concepts, Inc. March 30, 2016 Background For This Work No architectural programming or investigation was completed as part of this work; goal of this work is to determine if a modern educational facility will fit on this site. Layout of the interior generally considered but needs programming 650 students, 190 s.f. per student = 123,500 total s.f. building area 900 s.f. /per classroom 6 7 classes deep (5 grades = Pre K 3 rd ); total classrooms School includes: Specials, Gym/Multi Purpose Room, Cafe. and Kitchen, Library w/ Project Space, Large Group Instruction, Counselor Area, Nurse Area, Front Office (Principal, Asst. Principal, Staff, Waiting), Mechanical, Restrooms, Halls/Foyers 1

Partial 2 story construction Courtyard desirable for more than light, but not necessary for teaching or use Car parking spaces and Bus loading spaces Site Amenities Outdoor playground area and retain ball fields Site Related Investigations Zoning Project will require a Special Exception in the RU zone. Public Buildings Sanitary Sewer Currently analyzing DASD s existing usage vs. future needs vs. Springfield Township Sewer Authority capacity Water YWC appears to have capacity; They thought the existing 3 service line will be adequate, but will need a fixture count to verify PNDI Hit from Fish & Boat Commission; need more info on the site; likely no impact 2

5 Existing Conditions The following slides represent various showing how different configurations of a 123,500 sq. ft. educational facility and required site amenities can fit on the existing property of the Loganville Springfield Elementary School. These schematic plans are not to be interpreted as being final or as the only possible layouts. Additional programming both internal and on the site will be required to develop a complete and final design which may be altogether different from what is depicted in this presentation. 5
