3 BASIC STAND Première Vision takes care of the installation, which is at your disposal as of 2 pm Monday 12 February The basic equipment required for your stand is established according to its size. The stand consists of: An obligatory modular flooring (height 12 cm) covered with a dark grey carpet (graphite) with protective plastic film Perimeter partitions mesure 1.50m high from the floor, inside the stand, i.e. 1.62m high from the stand aisles The stand s periphery panels are composed of a grey aluminium frame and a composite-material panel featuring a brushed aluminium face on the exterior and a white face on the interior The grey aluminium frame is colour reference RAL 7016 and the interior panels in RAL 9003 Dimension of the panels: each entry to a stand whose surface is over 36 m 2 is equipped with two 0.69 m wide partitions (to the left of the entry), the remainder of the stand s peripheral partitions are 1.50 m wide. Stands with a surface area of less than 36 m 2 are equipped with 1.50 m wide partitions only The interior of the stand is equipped with luminous arches around the entre perimeter of the stand, except for storage cubicles. Hanging rails, to affix onto these luminous arches, should be drawn on your interior layout map. Hanging rails that are not drawn will not be put in place. General stand lighting is provided by fixed lamps composed of an angled aluminium tube with a 50 mm diameter, in white. These lamps are equipped with LED lighting. The lamps in the allotment are fixed lamps (their number depends on the allotment). They are systematically installed on the peripheral walls of the stand at the junction of the partitions or at the junction of the internal partitions, and their position is to be indicated on your layout. The lighting of the lamp can be angled (swivels 90 ). Lighting of the samples is provided by luminous arches made from a white aluminium tube equipped with LED lighting and rails with a diameter of 16 mm (or white metal shelves) The entrance to the stand is equipped with a 2.50 m high stand sign with the stand number, and the name and nationality of the exhibiting company An allotment of furniture An electricity meter An allotment of electricity outlets Please note that only electricity outlets drawn on your stand map will have outputs in your stand NB: the basic stand is provided without a door. Safety regulations for trade fairs in France require that stands with of surface between 50 m 2 and 300 m 2 having only one entrance must include at least one emergency exit. Stands with an area greater than 300 m2 must have 2 emergency exits as part of their layout if they have only one entrance; only 1 emergency exit is required if the stand has 2 entrances. This power is sufficient for all the lighting of the stand allotment, as well as the electrical outlets, on the basis of 300W / allotment socket. 5 SET-UP REQUIREMENTS When designing the internal layout of your stand, please take into account the various technical specifications detailed below: STAND ENTRANCES 2 door formats are proposed for 1.5 metre and 3 m wide stand entrances (optional stand door, see page 11). The main entrance to the stand is bordered by: on the left, a stand sign measuring 0.69 m wide x 2.50 m high on the right, a perpendicular partition measuring 0.69 m wide x 1.50 m high The main entrance to the stand, identified by the stand sign, is located exclusively on the numbered (vertical) aisles and can in no case be located at the corner of an block. If a door adjoining a partition shared with a neighbouring stand necessitates the removal of the luminous arch and its hanging rail on the partition perpendicular to the door. It is not possible to install 2 doors side by side. 7 SAFETY EXITS 2 possible door formats for safety exits (stand door is optional, see price on page 12) Door for 1.50 m wide opening Door for 3.00 m wide opening Security regulations for shows in France require that stands with a surface between 50 sq. m. and 300 sq. m. having only one entrance, must have at least one safety exit. Stands with a surface area of over 300 sq. m. require two safety exits if they have only one entrance, or one safety exit if the stand has two entrances. Safety exits can be opened or closed (but not padlocked) during the opening hours of the show. Important : The opening created by the safety exit will not and cannot substitute for the main entrance to the stand, which is the only entrance to have a stand sign. It is bordered by perpendicular partitions of 69 cm x 150 cm and includes a small panel (21cm x 21 cm) placed on the outer side, which indicates the number, the name of the exhibitor and the nationality of the latter. A safety exit cannot be located on the corner of a block. SPECIAL CASE: Exceptionally, safety exits can be located in a booth (not blocked). In this case, the safety exit must be located facing the door of the booth, and must remain shut (but not padlocked). 8 DISPLAY WINDOWS AND EXTERNAL GLASS PARTITIONS The display window exists only in an exterior version; it is not possible to locate it inside a stand. A display window or external glass partition may be placed next to a stand door. The display window and the glass partition can be positioned directly next to the partition of a neighbouring stand. A display window cannot be placed on the corner of a block, but a glass partition can. Luminous arches equipped with hanging rails can be installed behind external glass partitions but not on the back of the windows. 9 LIGHTING Fixed lamps: fixed lamps are installed on the supports of the partitions on the perimeter of the stand or on internal partitions without any other constraint. They do not require ordering an electrical socket, power is supplied through the support. Freestanding lamp (additional option): can be positioned anywhere in the stand with no other constraint. An electrical socket positioned at the foot of the freestanding lamp provides the power and is included. Please indicate on your layout the positioning of all lamps. The arches cannot be removed. Only the booth partitions are not equipped with luminous arches. The luminous arches can be installed on either side of the 1.50 m internal partitions (paying option in this case). New: any addition of a hanging rod on internal partitions requires the installation of a luminous arch (paying option). The luminous arches cannot be installed on 0.69 m partitions. 10 INTERNAL PARTITIONS (2-SIDED WHITE COMPOSITE OR GLASS PANEL) As the partitions are attached to supports, they may only be placed at right angles (90 ), that is to say parallel or perpendicular to the peripheral partitions. A 31-cm wide support is systematically positioned every 1.5 linear meters. The 0.69 m partitions cannot be outfitted with hanging rails or luminous arches. 2 successive 0.69 m partitions can be outfitted with a luminous arch and its hanging rod. They can be positioned around the entire perimeter of the stand and / or the internal partitions as well as in corners. Shelves can be lit with luminous arches. 11 RULES FOR OUTFITTING AND DECORATING YOUR STAND The rules we ask you to respect are intended to define a framework within which you may freely express your creativity and make the most of your space, without affecting the overall harmony of the show. Main stand entrances, with the stand sign, must be positioned only on the numbered vertical aisles, identified by a letter (example 5 A). Thanks to this coherent organisation of the signage all stand signs are alligned and visitors can easily find their bearings inside the show. The periphery walls of the stand and the stand sign must not be used to display any items (stickers, logo, etc.) However you intend to personalise your stand, it must include the fixed lamp allotment foreseen for the stand surface, which is an integral part of the stand concept. Likewise, the luminous arches outfitting the entire stand perimeter must in all cases be retained. Nothing is to be suspended or attached (screws, nails, staples, glue...) to the stand elements, whether lighting (lamps, luminous arches), partitions or doors. No decoration may extend above the stand partitions (1.537 m), nor extend into the aisles (outside the stand). Personalised floor coverings are not recommended. If nonetheless you plan to use one, please note the following: IMPORTANT NEW The stability of the entire stand is dependant on the fact that the support ladders between each perimeter partition of the stand are secured to the floor. If your project includes any installation such as flooring, tiles or linoleum, we inform you that the technical hoods on the periphery of your stand must not be covered. In addition, the supports and luminous arches secured to the ground must not be dismantled; otherwise the partitions may fall and break. Any and all installation of custom flooring must take into account these requirements, and foresee a precise cutting of the floor covering according to the positioning of the supports between each partition Under no circumstances may custom flooring be installed on top of the carpet provided in the basic equipment (fire safety rule). 12 NEW You now have the option of changing the colour of your stand carpet (for an additional fee). See the colours available and prices on page 21. Audiovisual equipment: please show respect for those around you by not creating any noise disturbance (only images are allowed). if you choose to bring your own furnishings and forego some or all of the standard furnishing items allotted for your size stand, please let us know in advance. All the decorative materials you use must conform to current safety standards (ask for certificates of conformity from your suppliers; they will be asked for at the show). All damage or deterioration caused by exhibitors (or their service providers) to the site, decoration or materials made available to them, as well as to the material and buildings housing the show, will be billed to exhibitors. For information, a replacement price list of the elements constituting the stand is provided on page 30. IMPORTANT: All special decoration projects must be submitted at least 1 month prior to the show, for approval or rejection by Première Vision. Première Vision has established an SPS coordination at its set-up and dismantling site, to conform to the requirements of Law No of 31 December 1993 and its application decree No of 31 December We remind you that the organizer has taken the appropriate measures concerning accident prevention and health protection at work, and that all workers or subcontractors must take these measures into account by wearing the appropriate safety gear (work boots, gloves and/or helmet if required), and having persons for whom they are responsible wear them, on site during the set up and the dismantling period. 20 LIGHTING OPTIONS Fixed lamp on stand periphery Freestanding lamp Power supplied to stands: Monday at 2 pm until midnight and throughout the duration of the show from 8 am to 7:30 pm. FIXED LAMP Fixed lamps are composed of a 50 mm diameter angled aluminium tube, white. The lights are equipped with LED lighting and are attached to the periphery of the stand and / or inside the stand at the junction of the partitions (number depending on allotment). Fixed, mandatory and free of charge around the entire stand periphery, the luminous arches can also be positioned on the back of the external and internal glass partitions. 23 ELECTRICITY METER Indicate its location on your stand layout. For practical and aesthetic reasons, we suggest you locate your metre inside a booth, if you have one, or, if not, in a corner of your stand. As a reminder, your stand comes with an electricity meter with power corresponding to the consumption of the lighting elements included in the standard equipment of your stand, and the supply of the sockets provided in the allotment on the basis of 300W / outlet; the power indicated on the table on page 2 is the maximum power provided by Première Vision (a more precise calculation is made according to the equipment indicated on your layout). If it is necessary to increase the electrical power (such as when planning the use of several electrical devices, whether coffee machines or other), the additional charge will be at your own expense. 25 WATER CONNECTION The water connection charges include: one inlet in the form of a standard 15/21-diameter flexible hose terminated by a stopcock or transfer cock, 45 mm diameter waste water drain, water consumption during the show. The charge indicated for connection to the water supply does not include the cost of linking the stopcock to the equipment to be supplied with water.
