3 OSE RIGI BE SEEVE N FIING BOY Wit O-Ring seal (Option) is type of assembly ensures very ig dependability. e assembly is acieved by connecting te two parts togeter by means of a nut and a sleeve. MAIN CARACERISICS - e assembly performs extremely well even under severe vibrations, pressure bursts, and termal socks. - On tigtening, te sleeve ensures tube alignment wit fitting axis, reduces mecanical strain on tube and decreases vibrations. - Fitting can be equally coupled to metric or inc-tubes. - e tube doesn't undergo distortion, remains constant and fluid pressure losses are negligible. - e system efficiency remains equally guaranteed after several disassemblies and assembly operations and individual replacement of any component. MAERIA AN SRFACE PROECION Fittings are normally made of steel and obtained from controlled bar-stock macining (straigt fittings, nuts) or by ot or cold forming (saped fittings, sleeves). Alternative materials suc as brass, aluminium, stainless steel available upon request. All carbon steel fittings but tose to be brazed or welded-on tubes, are yellow zinc plated to a Min. tickness of 0.00 mm to comply wit ASM-B-117, NI 57 ot salt spray test metod. All treads are sock protected wit plastic caps or plugs. SEAS All fittings requiring seals are supplied wit O-Ring seals and wasers. 2

4 FARING OPERAION ube flaring is carried out in two differente ways ; single wall flare on tick wall tubes and double wall flare on tin wall tubes to reinforce same. Oil te flaring cone. 3.3 Insert te clamping grips corresponding to eac outside diameter of te tube to te flaring device. 3. Slide te nut and sleeve onto te tube. 3.5 Insert te tube troug te clamping grips up to te stopper and press against it. 3. Start wit te flaring process. 3.7 Remove te flared tube including te clamping grips from te flaring device. Screw fitting by and into straigt tread port until back-up waser contacts face of port. o position fitting, unscrew up to one full turn ten old fitting in desired position and tigten locknut until back-up waser contacts face of port and force O-Ring witin port cavity. 11
