The people that supplied the produce couldn t have been happier. We even had a neighbor ask if she could sell farm fresh eggs. She sold out in 45 minutes. Hot Dog sales were good with all of the proceeds going to fund future events in the park. If anyone wants to sell any of their own crafts, come and talk to me and let s see what we can do. Thanks to the Social Committee for a wonderful Valentines steak dinner and dance. We had a great turnout and everyone had a good time. Thanks also, to the great chefs for being brave enough to cook the steaks. Also, thanks to Joan Meagher for making and donating the afghan for a raffle. We ended up selling $130 in tickets. This will also help fund future events. The afghan was won by Charlie Goodrow. We are still interested in any ideas you may have for ways to making Grand alley an even better place to live. Write down your ideas and place them in the Red Idea Box in the clubhouse. Please sign them so we can talk to you. Terry Morrow GET WELL Get Well cards were sent to Barbara Nemeth, Mary Jane Sellers, Rod Warren, Ron Guay, Larry Gola, Donna Wright, Beverly Peek, Mary Lou Quade and Eric Parker. 2 Wii TOURNAMENT Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers at the passing of my husband, Ed. It will still be Co-Ed and all games will be played straight and wild cards. We meet every Wednesday at 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm. So all you poker players, come and join us and have a good time. All crafters are welcome, from beginners to more advanced. If you have always thought you would like to give card making a try, but don't know where to begin, or having been doing this on your own for years, we would love for you to come and join us. If you have any question about what we do, call Carol McKenna at Bring your own plate and utensils. Cost is $3pp. Menu includes scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice. Don t forget to save your can tabs. Give them to Al Krueger at 8045 Monitor Dr. or leave them with Judy in the office.

Mario Cellini POT LUCK DINNER SOCIAL COMMITTEE The Valentine dinner had a great turnout, selling 80 tickets. Thanks to our in house chefs Rich LeLievre and Jim McKenna. The steaks were tender and cooked to perfection. There were some lucky attendees: Barbara Bell, Jim McKenna & Fred MacDonald walked away with door prizes. The luckiest person was Fern Forgues, who won $67.00 in the donation drawing. If you haven t heard by this time, the Mystery Dinner, scheduled for March has been cancelled. In it s place we are having a pot luck to celebrate St. Patty s day on March 11th. This event will be FREE to all. Just bring a dish to share. There will be a sign up sheet in the clubhouse. Music and dancing will take place after the meal. On April 8th, we have the Bellaires coming for our Farewell to Snowbirds dance. The harmony between these two singer is worth the $7 charge. Besides good dance music, their vocals are music to your ears. On May 5th we will again celebrate the Battle of Puebla Day, also known as Cinco de Mayo with an assortment of Mexican cuisine. 5 MEMBERSHIP DUES Reference Article IV Section 5 Annual Membership. Dues are billed annually to all owners in Grand Valley and are payable in full before December 31st for the next calendar year. MEETINGS Reference Article V Section 1 Place of Meetings. Meetings of the members shall be held at the office of the Association the Park clubhouse, or recreation hall or at any other place within the State of Florida that the Board of Directors or members may from time to time elect. Only members in good standing may attend and participate in meetings of the members. LADIES LUNCHEON Our next Ladies Luncheon will meet on March 14th at 1pm at Carmalitas on old SR54.. A sign up sheet is in the clubhouse. All residents are welcome to join us. Call if you need a ride.
