1 Expression of Interest (EOI) Manufacture and Supply of Australian Stock Horse Saddlecloths The Australian Stock Horse Society Ltd (Society) is Australia s largest breed of recreation and pleasure horses and is seeking to enter into a Manufacture Agreement for supply of the Society saddlecloths. Supply is limited solely to The Australian Stock Horse Society Limited, no other retailers, wholesalers or individuals (unless the Society provides written authorisation). The Society s logo is a Registered Trademark. The Society currently has a standard range of three Official saddlecloths, as individually described in the Specification sheet. The Specification sheet is provided to assist potential suppliers in completing and submitting their EOI. The Society currently sells in excess of 500 saddlecloths per year and is seeking an EOI from suitably qualified and experienced manufacturers. The successful supplier will be expected to supply saddlecloths (to the agreed specification) at regular intervals, with a minimum annual quantity, over a three year period. The Society may place urgent orders, or special requests for Feature Events, with alternative colours, materials and/or embroidery, as required from time to time. 2 1. Traditional Green & Gold: Wool: Kersey Wool - Colour Bottle Green (example: 204cm wide Vardhman Treads Euroa Victoria, or equivalent). Underside: Kersey Wool, Bottle Green (same material as above) Note: 100% wool - any recycled materials, stating % wool, as well as % and type of recycled material must be disclosed. sewn first. Binding colour in Gold G25 (example: Arnold Webbing Type 406, or equivalent). Dimensions: Overall dimensions of saddlecloths (finished): Length 30 inches depth inches Length 27 inches depth inches Length 24 inches depth inches attached under and near the far side corner, refer to page 5. The Society s Logo is be embroidered into the bottom squared corners starting approximately 50mm from either corner as per the diagram provided on page 5. The embroidery is to be the same colour as the binding (as far as practical), completed prior to the saddlecloth being sewn together. 3 2. Blue Check Saddlecloths: Wool: Blackwatch Blue Check Kersey Wool (example: Vardhman Treads Euroa Victoria, or equivalent). Underside: Blackwatch Blue Check Kersey Wool, or Plain Colour Kersey Wool (same material as above) to match the check (black, bottle green or navy). Note: 100% wool - any recycled materials, stating % wool, as well as % and type of recycled material must be disclosed. sewn on first. Inner trim colour in light blue with edge colour in Royal Blue to match the check. 4 3. Summer Check Saddlecloths: Poly-cotton: Tough poly-cotton material in natural base colour with Green/Gold pinstripe check Underside: same material as above. Note: % cotton must be disclosed as well as % of other materials, including any recycled materials stating % cotton, as well as % and type of recycled material. sewn on first. Inner Trim Gold G22 and Edge in Bottle Green 3 (or equivalent).
