Senthilkumar Chairman & Managing Director BKS Textiles Private Limited, established in 1985, is a 'Vertically Integrated' manufacturer and exporter of high quality Woven fabrics, Home textiles, Institutional textiles, Organic & Fairtrade textiles and Coated textiles. Our manufacturing facility is spread in an area of 7.5 Hectares, comprising of Sizing (weaving preparatory), Weaving, Processing, Sewing and Laboratory, with 700+ employees. With an annual turnover of 15 million US$, we export to various countries across the globe namely UK, Europe, USA, Australia and Canada. We are certified for ISO 9001 for Quality management, ISO for Environmental management, SA 8000 for Social accountability, GOTS and Oekotex for manufacturing Organic & Sustainable textiles and Fairtrade by Flocert Germany for manufacturing Fairtrade Textiles. 3 YARN & SIZING BKS sources Cotton, Polycotton, Polyester, Nylon, Linen and Viscose yarns from reputed spinning mills in Tamilnadu and South India, in various counts ranging from 4's to 100's. The Weaving preparatory unit of BKS is equipped with state-of-the-art machineries that include four automatic warping machines and two multi-cylinder sizing machines to feed warp to in-house weaving and as well as for vendor operations. WEAVING The weaving unit of BKS is installed with state of the art, brand new, 36 ITEMA Electronic Dobby Rapier weaving machines & 8 shuttle-less projectile Jacquard weaving machines with working width up to 345 cms. The production output per day is around 20,000 mtrs in various weaves like satin, twill, drill, dobby, plain, oxford etc., BKS works with many dedicated contract weaving units through which we get around 50,000 mtrs/day production output. For high precision printing, Screen making is with Smart LEX 7043 (Laser Exposure technology). We have Climaterizer Clima 1850 and BestIMAGE CAD with latest version color separation software. We can handle all kinds of printing like Reactive, Pigment, Discharge and Disperse on various base fabrics like 100% cotton, polycotton, 100% polyester, viscose, linen, poly-viscose etc., The production output is 25,000 mtrs/day.
