6 2015 EVENT SNAPSHOTS Black Sea, beyond the purely commercial importance due to insuffi cient resources exploitation, plays also a strategic role in the energy security of the Black Sea countries and the EU. Romania strongly supports the idea of a unifi ed European strategy on the Black Sea, through close collaboration with other Black Sea states and with other neighbouring states.
