The student will create artworks using a variety of color printmaking media and mixed graphic design media, showing an increasing level of competence within each medium. The student will create artwork in a printmaking & graphic design medium of his/her choosing with an advanced level of proficiency.

The student will write a critique assessing a famous work of art using the appropriate artistic vocabulary and referencing the artist s use of elements and principles of design. The student will analyze reasons why the particular work was selected and how it reflects on his/her own style of art.

CMS (2.08) Research a variety of art movements and evaluate the different techniques used during that time. The student will research different art movements and create his/her own works of art in the appropriate style being observed.
