Program outline and background 3 Program name: Real prehistoric experience village Contents of program: Composition of mud hut of prehistoric times, prehistoric people story telling performance, prehistoric appliance tool making experience, whaling resuscitation, whale ship racing tournament Background Bangudae petroglyphs is global cultural heritage. It is national treasure number 285, 300 of prehistoric living conditions are recorded in detail, and 58 pieces of whaling scene is evaluated as universal cultural heritage that cannot be seen in any ancient wall painting. Based on Bangudae petroglyphs which is root of Ulsan culture, real prehistoric experience village is promoted to reproduce living condition of Korean peninsula marine tribe, establish identity of Ulsan culture, experience and enjoy whale culture contents, and to create large experience center with whale.

9 6. Theme application about festival of program 9 Since Ulsan whale festival is a festival with theme of whaling scene of Bangudae petroglyphs, Whaling history of Jangsaengpo, Whale of off Ulsan, real prehistoric experience village has high ratio of theme application

Explanation of participating sponsor, charity, volunteer, school and other participating group, and benefit for participating group Composition of prehistoric village: Composed with local prehistoric culture lab executive director, local artists (play, dance), reed mud hut and straw crafts of local senior citizens association. composed with bamboo and reed produced in Taehwa river. 19 Rate this Article 19 Ulsan whale festival Taehwa river representative program analysis As a result of analyzing Taehwa river representative program of Ulsan whale festival of this year, prehistoric whaling reenactment was selected as the first place with 32.1% compare to whale parade last year, and the possibility as killer contents that represents Taehwa river was checked. Taehwa river`s prehistoric whaling reenactment of this year put much effort to increase interest of visitor by giving interpretation of agent for program, reenactment performance was performed after prehistoric performance of real prehistoric experiment village twice per day in Friday and Sunday, and three times a day in Saturday. On the other hand, for prehistoric whaling reenactment, permeant experiment part by limitation of number will need to be reviewed.
