In an ongoing search for innovations that can be transferred to the textile and fashion industries, CETI collaborates with the world s leading software producers like LECTRA and PTC. To this technological vigil is now associated a solid awareness of industrial processes and the close observation of new uses and the final customer s new expectations. CETI is at the center of a dynamic ecosystem with an international network of partners and an available team with a variety of skills. It carries out actions at different stages of clothing industry production and initiates high-performance platforms to coconceive the products of tomorrow with brands and manufacturers. CETI accompanies textile industry players in digital transformations by: integrating new conception methods and ways of managing product life cycles taking into account the accelerated process for renewing brand offers identifying consumers aspirations and new uses optimizing the extended clothing industry value chain adapting a model for organizing companies that is more transversal and collaborative CETI is anchored in a region with a textile culture that has been strong for decades, allowing it to benefit from an ambitious vision. PROJECT DIGTEX WASHABLE, CONNECTED, WIRELESS CLOTHING WITH SELF-SUFFICIENT ENERGY WILL PROTECT PROFESSIONALS IN HIGH-RISK JOBS AS WELL AS MEDICALIZED PATIENTS The objective is to help evolve work garments and medical bedding to become reactive, autonomous and connected to the immediate environment. The collaboration and synergy of the project s partners will create a network of connected fabrics that include textile industry, electronic and signal processing professionals. PROJECT The structure will be set up industrially to integrate research and innovation. The products targeted are professional clothing (including underwear), articles in knit fabrics and medical bedding. The project aims to make these items reactive and connectable and will structure a French connected-textile industrial chain to help improve the value chain. AUTONOTEX The DIGTEX project, validated as a FUI (onetime ministerial investment) and co-financed by the French government and the Hauts de France and Nouvelle Aquitaine regions.
