Road, Kolkata invites sealed tenders in two bids systems in duplicate from bonafide, established and experienced suppliers/manufacturers for supplying of 25000(approx) no.s of silver coins(mementos). Interested parties may download the Tender Form from Allahabad Bank s website between to during working hours or collect Tender Form(s) containing the broad terms and conditions etc. from the office of the Allahabad Bank, Head Office, General Accounts Department, 2 N.S. Road, Kolkata during the working hours on any of the weekdays except Sundays and holidays between a.m. to 5.00 p.m.(saturday upto 2.30 p.m.) from to Other terms and conditions are mentioned as under: a) Name of Work Supply of 25000(approx.) pieces of Silver Coins (mementos) of 50 Gram each. Eligibility of Suppliers/Bidders 1. Suppliers/ Manufacturers of Silver Coins should have supplied similar quantity or value to any Govt./Semi Govt. organization /PSUs /National /MNCs in last two (2) years. 2. The supplier should have a minimum turnover of Rs 50 Crores and above in last two years and minimum Net worth of Rs 5 Crores. Part II (Commercial/Financial Bid)-The date of opening of commercial/financial bid will be advised after evaluation of technical bids.
2 Delay in submission Delay in submission of any part arising due to postal delay or any other irregularities at any stage will not be considered. Also, the Bank will not be responsible for any loss in transit in case of postal delivery. Date of pre-bid meeting at A.M. at Gen A/cs Dept. Allahabad Bank, Head Office, 2 N.S. Road, Kolkata Earnest Money Deposit Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten lakh only) in the shape of Bank Draft/Pay Order favouring Allahabad Bank payable at Kolkata Application Money NIL No brokers/intermediaries shall be entertained. The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any of the tenders without assigning any reason thereof. 3 TERMS & CONDITIONS The Offers are invited in two parts: Part (1) Technical Bid and part (2) Commercial/ Financial/Price bid in two separate sealed covers. Part I (Cover I):Tender form(technical) along with EMD of Rs.10,00,000/-(Rs.Ten lakh only) and necessary documents mentioned in Item No. (i) to (vii) (supporting documents must be attached). Part I will not contain any price bid. Bids without earnest money will be summarily rejected. Unsuccessful bidder s EMD will be returned within 7 days after finalization and placement of the order to the successful bidder. No interest is payable on the EMD. Following particulars along with supporting documents/papers are to be submitted with tender in Part I (Cover I): i. Name of the organization/firm, address along with telephone number of the contact person, address, Fax No., Service Tax Registration No, VAT Registration (if applicable) ii. Constitution of the firm (whether PSU/Company/Firm/Proprietorship), Name of Directors/Partners/Proprietor. iii. List of Govt. / Semi Govt. organization / PSUs / National/multi - national Companies where supplies of similar specifications have been made enclosing the copies of order/certificates from such clients. iv. List of disputes/litigations entered into, if any. v. Details of work experience and credential certificates from Bank/PSU/reputed corporate houses. vi. Details of Financial Worth and performances (Copies of last 3 years audited Balance Sheet). vii. Total annual turnover in last 2 years (year wise) Part II (Cover II): The Commercial/ Financial bid shall contain nothing but Price/financial aspects of service/item specified below without any conditions. The EMD and Part I documents should be placed in a separate sealed cover and super scribed as Technical Bid (Part I) for the Tender. THE PRICE BID should be placed in a separate sealed cover super scribed as Financial Bid-(Part II). These two sealed covers should be put in another sealed cover super scribed as TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF SILVER COINS (MEMENTOS) The Technical bid shall be opened first and if acceptable then the commercial/financial bid of the accepted bidders shall be opened. The Technical bids would be evaluated by Technical evaluation committee and the eligible bidders would be invited for their commercial/financial bids to be evaluated by the Financial evaluation Committee. Acceptance of tender will rest with the Bank at its sole discretion and the Bank reserves right to reject any or all of the tenders received without assigning any reason for such rejection.

The Suppliers/Manufacturers of Silver Coins should have supplied similar quantity or value to any Govt. / Semi Govt. organization / PSUs / National / multi - national Companies in last 2 years. 2. The Supplier should have a minimum annual turn over of Rs 50 Crores and above and Net worth of Rs 5 Crores and above in last 2 years. The Vendors are requested to quote the rate as per format of commercial/financial/price bid. Other Terms & Conditions:- 1. Price of various particulars (fixed cost items) per gram/per piece to be quoted in the tender form (commercial/financial/price bid) which will be taken into account for considering lowest bidder. However, cost of 1 kg silver with 999 fineness as on to be given as a reference / indicative rate of silver. 2. On receipt of entire ordered quantity, Bank shall take out sample lot and shall send it to the nominated assaying centre for testing of purity level at its own discretion. 3. If the consignment fails in purity test, Bank at its discretion may terminate the work order. All costs and consequences thereof shall be on account of the supplier. 4. Provisional cost of silver will be paid in advance to the successful bidder at the time of placing order on basis of prevailing market price. 5. If any defect is detected, vendor will arrange for suitable replacement. 6. Rate quoted should be valid for 60 (sixty) days. 7. Delivery of Silver Coins is to be made to the designated official at the Head Office and Zonal Offices of the Bank at various destinations as mentioned in Annexure-1, within 60 days from the date of placing the order by The Assistant General Manager(F&A),Allahabad Bank, Head Office, 2 N.S. Road, Kolkata Since the price of silver fluctuates on daily basis the provisional cost of Silver will be determined for payment as per standard market price prevailing on the day of placing the order. 9. The selected bidder shall be required to execute a contract with the Bank for supply of the Silver Coins within 07(seven) days failing which the EMD deposited by the bidder shall be forfeited by the Bank. 10.
