2 Field trips to Oso Bay Wetls Preserve serve students from Pre-K through 12th Grade, homeschool community groups of various ages. Field trips can be scheduled Tuesday through Friday can last between 1 3 hours depending on needs of group. Field trip groups must have a minimum of 10 students. # of Price students $ students $ students $225 Teachers select a topic from this booklet visit our website for a field trip request form. All materials for field trips are provided by Oso Bay Wetls Preserve. should bring water bottles appropriate clothing closed toed shoes that cover heels; no sals. The preserve also provides pre/post activities for teachers to do in classroom to enhance field trip experience. TEKS listed with each activity are a partial list of TEKS covered activities often cover additional TEKS not listed. Possible topics could be, but not limited to: Water Chemistry of Wetls, Soil Chemistry, Invertebrate Biology, Historical Cultural history of Oso Bay area, Human impacts changes to local environments, how to use inaturalist or nature based apps or specific research objectives of classes or students.
