1 Scene I Background music: Lay all your love on me SOPHIE: Oh, my God! Oh, my God! I miss you. Oh, yeah we re ALI: Sophie, Ali, Lisa! We re the greatest, bestest friends! LISA: I m tough! ALI: I m tall! SOPHIE: I m tiny! SOPHIE, ALI, and LISA: And we re going to ROCK this place. SOPHIE: I m getting married tomorrow. I m so glad you re here, because I have a big announcement. LISA: You are taking us with you to your honey moon?! SOPHIE: No! No! My dad is coming to my wedding!. He wrote to me. (showing letter) FATHER: Dear Sophie, I m taking a year off from the Peace Corps to be with you and your mother. I will be our 20 th anniversary very soon and I want to celebrate it by surprising her with my arrival. Love Dad. P.S.: Don t tell her please. After all, I did say SURPRISE. LISA: You are joking! Hasn t he been in Africa for the last couple of years? SOPHIE: Yes, he thought he couldn t make it. But he will, fortunately. I m going to surprise my mom with the news! ALI: That s awesome! SOPHIE: I want the perfect wedding, and I want my father to give away. LISA: Sophie? Sky knows all about this? SOPHIE: Uhmmm ALI: Why haven t you told him your dad s coming? SOPHIE: Because he would say that I d have to tell my mom.
2 Scene II HARRY & SAM: (rush into scene) Oh! Wait! Come back! (walk away a little) HARRY: I'm trying to get to Kalokairi. When's the next ferry? SAM: DThef-tera. HARRY: What? SAM: Monday. HARRY: Oh man. SAM: Yeah, exactly. BILL: Hey guys. Do you need a ride to Kalokairi? SAM: That would be great. HARRY: Can you give us a lift? BILL: Well sure. Come on board. SAILOR1: Do you need a hand with that, sir? HARRY: (gives his luggage to carrier1, carries it on board) Here you go. SAILOR2: Hand those to me, sir. (sailor2 gets Sam's luggage, carries it on board)i'll untie the lines. (sailor2 heads for the lines) SAILOR1: I'll get close to the steer.(sailor1 heads for the steer) HARRY: I know who you are. You re Bill Anderseen, aren t you? BILL: (nods) SAM: Are you close friend of Donna s? BILL: No I hadn t heard from her for twenty years? SAM: Really? BILL: But then I got this invite out of the blue. HARRY: What a coincidence I might say.
3 Scene III Background music: Honey, Honey SOPHIE: Auntie Rosie! ROSIE: Hey, hey! Look at Sophie. TANYA: She s gotten so beautiful! DONNA: I know! ROSIE: Come here to me. (they hug each other). Sophie Sheridan, you get more gorgeous every time I see you. You do. TANYA: I bet you don t remember me. ROSIE: Not with all that plastic surgery. SOPHIE: Of course I do, Auntie Tanya. You haven t changed at all. TANYA: I m so happy for you. DONNA: Donna and the Dynamos together again! TANYA: The best music band ever! And tomorrow we will perform on your engagement party Sophie! SOPHIE: I m so happy! (Sophie leaves) ROSIE: I love your hotel, Donna. It s beautiful. Scene IV SOPHIE: Hey. May I help you? BILL: Sure. We're here for the wedding. I'm Bill Anderseen. HARRY: I'm Bright. Harry Bright. SAM: Sam Carmichael. You are expecting us? SOPHIE: Oh my God, yes! SAM: You're not Donna's daughter? BILL: I thought you looked familiar. Uh, SOPHIE?
4 SOPHIE: Yes. HARRY: Would you mind if we see our rooms before we see your mother? SOPHIE: Sure, come this way. Scene V DONNA: I m worried with the situation with the hotel. It s not doing so well. I can t pay the bills. I miss my husband. Even though he s helping people with his work, I miss him. TANYA: He s doing good work. But I m sure you can make this place work. DONNA: I don t think so. I m extremely worried. I think I might have to sell. Song: Money, Money, Money Scene VI Background music: SOS SKY: Sophie! (Hugging her) I am so excited about tonight s party! SOPHIE: Well yes, but I m even more excited about tomorrow. Because we will be SKY & SOPHIE: Husband and wife! SOPHIE: Also, something tells me that a very special guest is coming to the wedding. SKY: Oh, really? Well, I need to go get everything ready for tonight s party. SOPHIE: Alright, Sky. See you later. My mother will be sight when she sees my father arriving unannounced. Song: Mamma Mia Scene VII Background music: Chiquitita DONNA: I must be dreaming. We are actually performing tonight. TANYA: Yes, after so many years, it s happening again. Dynamos!! Woo-hoo!! ROSIE: I hope I remember my dance moves. DONNA: Dance moves? Oh God I feel so old. I don t wanna do it anymore.
5 TANYA & ROSIE: What?! DONNA: I m sorry, girls. I don t think I can do the show. But you ll be great without me. ROSIE: We can t do it without you. You are the one that always comes up with the great moves on the stage. DONNA: No, no. Really, forget it. I m going to look ridiculous! TANYA: We can t do it with you, you are the dancing queen! Song: Dancing Queen Scene VIII Background music: GimmeGimmeGimme LISA: The party is going to rock! SKY: I know. Thank you guys for coming you. ALI: Yes, I m sure Sophie is going to love it. BILL: Are you ready for tomorrow?! HARRY: Yeah, getting married, at 20. Wow! You must be nervous! SKY: (looking worried) Uhm I guess. ALI: Oh, are you having second thoughts? LISA: Yeah, I hope you re not getting cold feet. SKY: Look! Here comes Sophie!
