C 2.3 umidity/- senss rod-shaped compact senss Description echnical Data RC PC MELA /- senss in the PC, PK and RC series are compact, versatile senss in a rod-type desi. hey are available with a 1.5 m connecting cable (PC series), without cable (PK series) with a robust aluminium connecting head and terminal screws (RC series) f measuring relative, relative and in air and other non-aggressive gases. he advantages of the series.../9 are its improved dynamics, in particular at low air speeds and also its increased serviece life, even under me challenging operating conditions (pollutant impact permanent > 95 %rh). 2 User instructions Install the Mela -/ senss at a place in the room, plant equipment where characteristic levels of occur. Avoid installing them close to heaters windows against outside walls. he specified minimum air speeds and the operating voltage-adapted current at current- (diagram) should be complied with. Deviations may lead to additional crupted measurement readings because the sens self-heats. he sens can be installed in any position. owever, do avoid positions where water can enter. Dew fmation and splashes do not damage the sens, although crupted measurement readings are recded until all the moisture on the filter has dried up. In der to maintain interference immunity in accdance with EN when it is in use, we recommend that you use a screened cable f connecting the RC and PK series senss, and have this fitted into the sens s EMC conduit thread by a qualified electrician. Product info sheet no. C 2.3 page 2 he protective filters should only be screwed off carefully to check functioning with the standa. It is imptant not to touch the highly sensitive sens element in the process. If necessary, soiled filters can be screwed off and rinsed. When you screw them back on, bear in mind that senss will not measure accurately again until they are completely dry. Senss of the series.../9 can be completely and carefully cleaned in distilled water. F mounting suppt we recommend the console type the attachment plate type ZA 20 (Product info sheet no. F 5.1). In der to check functioning in the place of installation, we recommend that you use the ZE 31/1-type standa (product info sheet no. F 5.2). Please consult the application notes f sensing elements (product info sheet no. A 1) check with the manufacturer f further infmation which you need to bear in mind when using senss with capacitive sensing elements.
