4 HSEQ Case studies Introduction JFMS understands the importance of occupational HSEQ and employs a fully-integrated system that is DNV-GL certified and managed at all levels of the company through an Integrated Management System (IMS). Health and safety JFMS operates a Health and Safety Management System accredited to OHSAS It is our policy to implement and follow UK HSE legislation for the management of employees. However, if there is a higher global standard that JFMS is made aware of that implies and/or requires a higher level of safety management than the UK legislation, then the higher level of safety management will be adopted and implemented as best practice. Environmental JFMS is committed to minimising environmental impact and preventing pollution which may arise as a consequence of our activities. We operate an Environmental Management Policy (EMP) that is accredited to ISO To demonstrate our long-term commitment to improving environmental management on a global basis, the EMP also incorporates JFMS s commitment to sustainable procurement, waste management and carbon footprint reduction policies. Quality assurance JFMS has an enviable reputation for delivering high quality services and innovative solutions to its clients. This delivery is underpinned by its management system which meets the industry minimum requirements of the International Standard for Quality Systems, ISO JFMS has a Quality Management System approved to ISO 9001 by DNV-GL, with the original registration date of 21/03/06, which is applicable to: The provision of project management of marine operations including diving, ROV, survey, UXO removal, vessels, rope access, maintenance, design for the renewable energy, oil & gas, cables, civil engineering and utilities industries worldwide. Accreditations JFMS has a range of accreditations that include IMCA, Achilles UVDB, UNCE and FPAL. It has also successfully passed the UVDB and FPAL verify audits, which assessed JFMS s performance against its HSEQ and corporate social responsibility commitments in an office and operational site. London Array JFMS was awarded a five-year Balance of Plant (BoP) contract to deliver statutory inspections, maintenance, certification activities, topside general visual inspection (GVI), and coating remediation (CR). Services will be provided on the offshore wind farm s wind turbine generator systems (WTGs), offshore substations and meteorological mast. Further project support includes temporary power, diving and ROV services. JFMS has already supplied an emergency generator and carried out an Ormazabal switchgear exchange. East Anglia One JFMS secured the Integrated Marine Package (IMP) for marine coordination, communications, guard vessel supply and buoy installation at East Anglia One. JFMS supplied communication systems such as Tetra, AIS, VHF, plus the provision of hardware, software, telecommunication connections, installation, commissioning, support and training from our regional renewables base in Port of Lowestoft. As part of a combined package, operated from its own unique Marine Coordination Centre, JFMS utilised a number of its bespoke systems including Offshore Wind Management System (OWMS), Vessel Motion Monitoring System (VMMS), CCTV module, personnel module and planning module. Galloper JFMS was selected as the principal contractor to deliver a significant range of marine and support services during the construction of Galloper offshore wind farm. Integrating a wide range of in-house capabilities, JFMS commenced the scope of work in early 2016 with a communications survey and the delivery of a shoreside support base, which played an integral role in the overall construction of the offshore wind farm. Further project support included marine co-ordination, provision of OWMS, vessel provision, crew transfers, UXO services, vessel refuelling, temporary power, bunkering, emergency response, diving and ROV services.

5 Case studies Wikinger JFMS performed a boulder clearance run along all 70 wind turbine generator systems (WTGs) on Wikinger offshore wind farm. Operations were carried out based on the seabed geophysical / geotechnical survey reports and meteocean data provided. The entire operation was performed within the exacting parameters determined by the client, including standard penetration depth of 0m, the use of RTK equipment, relocation of boulders starting from 0.50m height above seabed. Rampion and Humber Gateway JFMS carried out the provision of integrated control room management systems at two offshore wind farms, utilising several of our bespoke products as a combined package to ensure that in-field vessels, personnel and other assets were utilised eficiently and cost-effectively. These included Offshore Wind Management System (OWMS), Vessel Motion Monitoring System (VMMS), CCTV module, personnel module and planning module. Borkum Riffgrund, Gode Wind and Anholt JFMS delivered a subsea inspection framework for three European wind farms: Borkum Riffgrund, Gode Wind and Anholt. Services included inspection of offshore substations, inspection of 59 x WTGs, conducting GVI CVI, CP readings and cable protection surveys. Specialist divers and ROVs were deployed simultaneously from a DP2 vessel, successfully completing 105 manned dives, 107 ROV dives and 57,500 man hours (including marine crew) safe and incident-free. Rampion JFMS designed, manufactured, installed and maintained three temporary pontoons at the Rampion offshore wind farm s Newhaven port facility. Pontoons were specially designed in-house with a runner system to enable the safe transfer of personnel and improve docking operations, eliminating the need to amend mooring lines and adjust gangways to accommodate the tide. JFMS supplied OWMS to track vessels and personnel, along with associated Vessel RFID hardware. The scope also included OWMS Weather, Induction and Personnel Manager modules for the management of certification. MeyGen JFMS completed the turbine installation, recovery and re-installation on the world s first commercial tidal energy array, MeyGen. The groundbreaking 398MW tidal array based at Pentland Firth, Scotland, is subject to some of the most extreme tidal conditions in the world. To combat these challenging conditions JFMS used its in-house software, Mermaid, to precisely simulate marine operations against historic weather and tidal data to optimise operations. JFMS also delivered additional integrated services including technical project planning, project management, vessel charter, diving and ROV services and equipment hire. The project demonstrated our unique capability as a singlesource contractor to offer cost-effective turnkey solutions. Sandbank JFMS delivered an innovative UXO solution to the renewable energy market, which identified 120 potential contacts of which 26 were highlighted as UXOs and disposed of in a controlled environment. JFMS mobilised its in-house ROV spread and UXO assets onto a DP2 vessel, ensuring a critical level of control and safety during the identification of seabed targets. Throughout the entire operation, JFMS worked with German partners GSS Hansa Offshore GmbH to ensure compliance with German standards and federal law.
