L artista italiano Fabio Tasso firma queste 16 opere, differenti per trama e colore, che giocano sapientemente tra dipinto e scultura. Originali, pulite ed estremamente moderne, colpiscono per il forte impatto visivo che emanano. Opere minuziose e contemporanee, sempre diverse per effetto dell inclinazione della luce e della prospettiva dell osservatore. Una continua rigenerazione dell effetto finale che rendono queste opere davvero uniche. Malamegi is delighted to present the new collection: Fabio Tasso. The Italian artist Fabio Tasso signs these 16 works, different for texture and colour, which play wisely between painting and sculpture. Original, clean and extremely modern, they strike for the strong visual impact emanated from them all. Meticulous and contemporary works, always different due to the inclination of the light and perspective of the observer. A continuous regeneration of the final effect that make these works truly unique.

3 Le opere sono composte da pannelli di plastica, lavorata grazie ad una particolare macchina inventata dallo stesso artista. Il lavoro dell artista studia le differenze tra dipinto e scultura, collocando le opere in una dimensione di mezzo, affascinante e ricca di dettagli. Grazie a colori, toni e forme vengono simulate luci e ombre che compongono le parti concave e convesse per effetto di rientranze e sporgenze. The works are composed of plastic panels, processed thanks to a particular machine invented by the same artist. The artist s work is studying the differences between painting and sculpture, placing the works in one medium dimension, charming and full of details. Thanks to colours, tones and shapes, the lights and shadows are simulated in order to compose the concave and convex parts due to recesses and protrusions. 4 5

Fabio Tasso was born in 1990 in Savona, a city in the North West part of Italy. His artistic path began with the frequentation of ceramic craft in Albisola.

28 Fabio Tasso was born in 1990 in Savona, a city in the North West part of Italy. His artistic path began with the frequentation of ceramic craft in Albisola. He attended the Fine Art Academy of Genoa, where he completely immersed himself in the world of sculpture. During his studies, in 2012, he lived and taught in Nepal in the Buddhist monastery Neydo Tashi Choling. He had the opportunity to study what he discovered have always been the center of his research: the emptiness and the relationship that this has with fullness, with matter. After the graduation in Genoa he moved to Carrara, where he completed his sculpture studies and developed his first sculpt-making machinery. Winner of several art competitions, he participated in sculpture symposia, artistic residences and started his international artistic activity between Europe and the United States. Since 2015, he has been a professor at the Fine Art Academy of Genoa, teaching Life Drawing and Artistic Anatomy.
