3 General Information TERMS: 2% Ten Days From Invoice Date Net 30 Days. Orders from un-established accounts will be held pending credit acceptance. Or shipment can be made by prepayment and MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover. Cash discounts do not apply to credit card purchases. No COD orders will be accepted. Past due accounts will be placed on HOLD and released when account is returned to current status. Accounts deemed a collection problem may not be reopened. A late payment charge of 1 ½% percent, (18% annual rate) or highest rate allowed by law will be applied to past due balances. A $7.00 Service Charge will be added to orders below $25.00 Net Cost. No exceptions. PRICES: Orders are accepted with the understanding they will be billed at prices in effect at the time of acceptance. All prices are in U.S. currency and supersede any price list published prior to January Special price quotations will be good for 30 days from date of issue. SHIPMENTS: All shipments will be F.O.B. Salem, Ohio. Upon delivery to the transportation company, shipments become the property of the purchaser, who assumes full risk for loss or damage in transit. FREIGHT ALLOWANCE: Any shipment over $1000 net will be shipped F.O.B. Salem, Ohio freight prepaid (within continental limits of the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii). BRASS Accents, Inc. will select carrier on prepaid deliveries. Any difference in carrier costs due to customer requests will be billed to the customer. CLAIMS: It is the purchaser s responsibility to file claims with the common carrier within 7 days after the receipt of a damaged order. For U.P.S. and FedEx claims of shortages or damages, the customer must notify BRASS Accents, Inc. immediately and hold goods for inspection by an inspector. RETURNS: Merchandise cannot be returned without written authorization. All returns must be prepaid. Merchandise accepted by BRASS Accents, Inc. for credit is subject to a minimum 25% restocking and handling charge. The credit will be a merchandise credit only. Sender is responsible for seeing that the merchandise being returned is packaged to avoid damage in transit. Authorized returns become void after 30 days from issue date of the Returned Goods Authorization. Special and custom order items, specifically all finishes other than polished brass and non-stock kick plates are not returnable for any reason. Damage by customer, or in transit, will receive no credit. DISCREPANCIES: Please notify us promptly of any discrepancy in shipments or invoicing. All claims must be reported to us within one (1) week of receipt of merchandise. When reporting a claim, please refer to Purchase Order Number, Order Number and/or Invoice Number. LIMITED WARRANTY: BRASS Accents, Inc. warrants for a period of one (1) year that our products will be free from defects in workmanship and materials. At our option, we will repair or replace free of charge any product found to be defective and subject to this warranty, provided it is delivered prepaid to us. This warranty does not apply to any defects or malfunctions resulting from improper installation or use. BRASS Accents, Inc. shall not be liable for any consequential damages. Please note: The limited warranty on all locks or latches is void if consumer uses them on knobs, levers, or trim other than original supplied by BRASS Accents, Inc. or the manufacturer. Finishes are warranted only until delivery to BRASS Accents, Inc. customer. Live finishes (antique, oil rubbed, and verdigris) may change color and texture over time. This process will enrich the appearance of your hardware and is not considered defective. SPECIFICATIONS: We reserve the right to discontinue items or change specifications at any time without notice and without incurring any obligations. All sizes in this catalog are. CUSTOM FINISHES: All BRASS Accents, Inc. products are in a 605 (US-3) lacquered polished brass finish, unless otherwise noted. However, most products are available in unlacquered brass, antique brass, Copy Chrome TM, satin nickel, antique nickel (pewter), antique copper, oil rubbed bronze, Venetian bronze, verdigris, weathered black, and weathered rust. When ordering other than US-3 lacquered polished brass, please use the appropriate column from your price book. Please allow approx. 5 days for delivery for custom finish orders. 4 Knob and Lever Descriptions NEW Savannah Fluted Oval Crystal Knob This is a brand new design based roughly on Art & Crafts pressed glass 12 flute knob of the early 1900 s. Our new 24% lead crystal multi-facet knob reflects light more effectively than the inexpensive pressed glass originals as well as providing a more comfortable, fuller feeling oval knob. 1-3/4" x 2-3/4". NEW Empire Round Crystal Knob From the Colonial Revival period of the 1930 s and 1940s, this high quality pressed and polished crystal featuring a full round shape for greater feel and comfort. 2-3/4" dia. NEW Georgetown Oval Crystal Knob This unique design even features the assembly detail of the Hopkins & Dickerson knob c done in 24% solid lead crystal! 1-3/4" x 2-3/4". Lafayette Knob - Designed in the French Regency style c following the reign of Louis XIV. Curvilinear shapes make the composition flow freely. 2-3/8" dia. Avalon Knob - This intricately cast oval knob can be seen on a plate similar to our L Enfant Collection in the P & F Corbin Catalog of /16" x 2-3/4". Helios Knob - Based on designs from the Rococo period c this deeply modeled scrollwork provides a very strong presence. 2-1/2" dia. Maltesia Knob - A reproduction based on the Reole pattern of Reading Hardware Company c Heavy and dramatic from a time when homes were designed to accommodate such elegance. 2-1/2" dia. Laurel Knob - A unique BRASS Accents mainstay, this jumbo (3") knob is a reproduction based on a Niles Chicago Co. design, c.1880 s. The detailing is a beautiful mix of the organic and the stylish, bringing the term rural charm into its own. Best with 2-3/4" backset. Sunburst Knob - Unobtrusive but visually rewarding for people who notice fine detail. Simple elegance in a knob design made popular around the 1930 s. This Whimsical sunburst design really comes alive with any of the BRASS Accents antique finishes as well as Venetian Bronze. 2-5/16" dia. Charleston Knob - This ever-popular English rope design is a reproduction based on the Endicott pattern from Russell & Erwin, circa 1890 s. Available in standard size 2-1/4". Newport Knob - Is a larger version of the Charleston knob based on the Endicott pattern from Russell & Erwin, circa 1890 s. Available in 2-1/2" diameter. Victorian - Fluted Glass Knob: This knob, patterned after the original Penn Hardware fluted knob in the Arts & Crafts period of the 1920 s. This design remains in vogue because of the many facets available to reflect light. 2" dia. Hartford - Lead Crystal Knob From the Victorian Era circa 1800s-1940s, this high quality pressed and polished crystal featuring wide facets for light reflection has more clarity than ordinary glass. 2-3/8" dia. Windsor Knob - Commonly referred to as the egg knob, this design is popular because of the easy operation the oval shape provides and ability to function well in narrow backset applications. 1-3/8" x 2-5/16". Netropol Knob - Enter the modern age with this mushroom shaped knob style made popular by the Earle Hardware Co. around 1935! Simple design, yet goes with many back plate styles. Finishes well in solid finishes like Oil Rubbed Bronze, Polished Brass, Satin Nickel, and Weathered Finishes. 2-1/4" dia. Ribbon & Reed Knob - This knob is done in the Louis XVI style c The style really began in the second part of the reign of Louis XV and expanded over the entire reign of Louis XVI. The use of the ribbon and reed elements can be traced to the Greek ruins of Pompeii, brought to France from Greek archaeological sites around /4" dia. 2

5 Knob and Lever Descriptions Champagne Lever - Designed in the Italian Renaissance style, this ornamental floral motif shows the delicate charm very much present during the Renaissance Period. Fairport Lever - Often referred to as being done in the Georgian style, this classic English rope lever has been popular with American lock set manufacturers since the mid 19 th century. Kinsman Lever - This crystal lever, first made popular in the early 20 th century, provides a unique look in a simple lever design. Now reproduced in molded glass, commonly referred to as depression era glass, and although attractive, even the original pieces have little collector s value. Chancellor Lever - This simple lever, popular from the mid 19 th century, is extremely functional, and best of all, looks it s best in any of BRASS Accents 12 standard finishes. MacKenzie Lever - This lever done in the contemporary style in the early 20 th century, but reflects the more romantic approach of the neo-french look while offering the simplicity craved by the federal American Period. Gladstone Lever - Done in the Art Deco, Post Modern style c this simple lever finishes best in solid color finishes like Copy Chrome TM, polished brass, satin nickel and oil rubbed bronze. Swirled Lever - This lever brings back the feeling of the rustic iron hardware designs of the Arts & Crafts period while utilizing all the latest features like concealed mounting hardware. This lever looks great in our Weathered Black and Rust finishes, completing the blacksmith look. Salem Lever - This low profile lever is specifically designed in combination with our 2" backset latch for use on swing patio doors, including Atrium doors with sliding screens. 58 Available Finishes The Venetian Oil Rubbed Bronze finish is applied over copper plated brass and is a chemically darkened surface designed to simulate aged bronze. This finish is very dark and varies from a deep chocolate brown to a dark gray and has distinct copper highlights and undertones. All oil rubbed bronze finishes can be ordered actually oil rubbed if requested, but they are typically matte lacquer coated. To ensure that the finish is right for you, samples should be ordered in advance. Common finish code for Venetian oil rubbed bronze is 613VB. Satin Brass finish is a brass that has been dulled and gloss lacquer coated. Common finish codes for satin brass are US4 and 606. The Antique Copper finish is copper plated brass, chemically darkened to simulate aged copper. Antique Copper finish is typically a medium black with copper undertones, and can vary significantly from one product to another. To ensure that the finish is right for you, samples should be ordered in advance. Common finish code for antique copper is 657. The Weathered Rust finish is a textured rust powder coat finish on brass or stainless steel. Common finish code for Weathered Rust is 770. The Copy Chrome TM finish is a nickel plate on brass that is specially treated to replicate chrome, then polished. Chrome is similar to nickel in that they both have silver tones, with chrome having a slightly cooler tone. Polished Copy Chrome TM may be lacquer coated but typically is not because copy chrome TM does not tarnish. Common finish codes for polished chrome are US26 and 625. Lacquered polished nickel also available. The Weathered Black finish is a textured black finish on brass or stainless steel. Weathered Black finish is typically achieved by powder coating. Common finish codes for Weathered Black are US19 and 622. The Antique Nickel (Pewter) finish is nickel plating on brass that has been dulled and darkened to simulate pewter. This may be referred to as pewter or antique nickel interchangeably. Common finish codes for antique pewter are US15A and 620. The Oil Rubbed Bronze finish is a chemically darkened surface designed to simulate aged bronze. This finish is very dark and varies from a deep chocolate brown to a dark gray and usually has reddish undertones. There are quite a variety of interpretations of this finish in the hardware industry and all oil rubbed bronze finishes do not match. To ensure that the finish is right for you, samples should be ordered in advance. Common finish codes for oil rubbed bronze are US10B and 613. The Verdigris finish is first finished in oil rubbed bronze brass and then oxidized to a Verde green finish to simulate extremely aged brass/copper. Verdigris is very much a live finish and varies dramatically piece to piece. It is also NOT a surface that should be used where handled often or used by children. Because of the variations possible, even ordering samples in advance can be misleading. Common finish codes for Verdigris are 472 and US22. The Antique Brass finish is raw brass, which has been chemically darkened to simulate aged brass. Antique Brass finish is typically a medium brown with golden undertones, and can vary significantly from one product to another. To ensure that the finish is right for you, samples should be ordered in advance. Common finish codes for antique brass are US5 and 609. The Satin Nickel finish is nickel plating on brass that has been dulled and lacquer coated. Satin Nickel is sometimes referred to as brushed nickel. It is similar in appearance to brushed stainless steel or brushed aluminum. Common finish codes for satin nickel are US15 and 619. The Polished Brass finish is solid brass that is polished and lacquer coated to prevent tarnishing over time. Common finish codes for polished brass are 605 and US3.
