INSTRUCTION GUIDE ATTACHED PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE AND WHILE USING. Do not use scraper unless all instructions are understood thoroughly. Do not use for other than intended use. Before every use, make sure that machined bolts and screws are secured tightly on Jiffyloc pole and on scraper. Use scraper with Jiffyloc extension poles only - safety chain and safety clip must be attached. CAUTION: VERY STRONG MAGNETS IN BOTTOM OF SCRAPER WILL ATTRACT ALL MAGNETIC METAL USE WITH CARE! We suggest you purchase a toolbox to store your scrapers, blades, and protective pans in for convenience, as well as for safety. Limited Warranty Guardian Power Cleaning Corp. warrants to the original consumer purchaser, and solely for the benefit of such original consumer purchaser (hereinafter referred to as the consumer ), that the patented (US Patent No ) Really EZ Magnetic Duct Scraper TM, is free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase, as long as such consumer only properly uses the Really EZ Magnetic Duct Scraper TM. Guardian Power Cleaning Corp. (GPCC) will correct defects in the Really EZ Magnetic Duct Scraper TM by repair or replacement, at its option. A return authorization is required prior to shipping the Really EZ Magnetic Duct Scraper TM to GPCC at Only after an analysis and review by GPCC s Quality Control dept. and the Really EZ Magnetic Duct Scraper TM is deemed covered under the Limited Warranty, as outlined above, will a repair or replacement be issued. Failure to comply with instructions could result in personal injury and/or property damage. 2 REMOVING SCRAPER FROM PAN: -Place scraper with pan on floor (note position of lettering on scraper) with straight edge of pan toward you and 45 degree angle of pan away from you -Place workboot on foot pad as shown, to keep pan from moving -Push handle of scraper forward and away fom you while lifting scraper out of pan Figure 1 REPLACING SCRAPER INTO PAN: -Place pan on floor and hold handle as shown in a rigid position and guide scraper into the angle area of the pan -Magnet will pull scraper down, into the pan Figure 2

3 IMPORTANT NOTE To remove scraper from the duct, twist the handle to the left or right. DO NOT pull the scraper off the duct, TWIST IT OFF! CAUTION: VERY SHARP RAZOR BLADES VERY STRONG MAGNETS SCRAPER IS ALUMINUM DO NOT SOAK IN CORROSIVE CHEMICAL!!!

4 TO INSTALL/REMOVE RAZOR BLADES: Place scraper on a flat, non-magnetic surface, and extend scraper past the end of flat surface so the blade can be held as shown. Use thumbscrews to loosen for removal or tighten to install blades. No need to remove aluminum bars holding razor blades in place. Loosen thumb screws just enough to slip the razor blade in place as shown. MAKE SURE THUMB SCREWS ARE TIGHTENED DOWN ALL THE WAY AND BLADES ARE SECURE, USING PLIERS IF NECESSARY. 5 The handle is designed to work EXCLUSIVELY with the Jiffyloc extension pole, which uses a positive quick connect/disconnect system, making use of the Really EZ Magnetic Duct Scraper a SNAP! We have specifically designed a chain from the Jiffyloc pole to the Really EZ Magnetic Duct Scraper which will perform a dual function first for safety and second for retrieval if pole separates from scraper ATTACHING SAFETY CHAIN TO THE JIFFYLOC POLE: -Loosen the (2) phillips-head screws from the female threaded top portion of the pole and unscrew it -Attach chain onto split ring and slip ring over male thread section pf pole as shown -Replace the female threaded top portion of the pole onto the male threaded portion, screw it down to the base by hand, and tighten the (2) phillips-head screws -See Figure 6, next page, for connecting opposite ends of chain to the scraper lvery Important Figure 5

6 SAFETY CHAIN AND SAFETY CLIP MUST BE ATTACHED WHEN USING JIFFYLOC EXTENSION POLE! Safety Clip Important lvery -Attach the opposite end of the chain to the split ring on the scraper Before every use, make sure that all of the machined bolts and screws are secured tightly on the Jiffyloc pole and on the Really EZ Magnetic Duct Scraper IMPORTANT NOTES DO NOT soak scraper or Jiffyloc poles in corrosive chemical. When using scraper from above, make certain there is nobody below the duct. Figure 6
