3 Assembly and operation of the greenhouse should be performed in strict compliance with the assembly manual and operation rules as specified in the technical certificate. The technical certificate must be preserved. Description Greenhouse ARROW is intended to create the microclimate favorable for growing garden and allotment crops in gardens and household plots. The area of covered ground depends on the length of the greenhouse (Chart 1). The high of the installed greenhouse frame is,5 m, and the width of,6 m is optimal for two garden beds inside. The greenhouse may be of different length depending on the customer s wish. The required length of the greenhouse can be attained by purchasing additional Inset packages each adding m to the base length m (Chart ). The greenhouse is fixed to the ground by digging special supports into the soil or by joining it to a foundation slab with fastening hooks. The supply package includes everything you need for fastening the cover surfaces. Cover surface sheets are supplied following the customer s request. The greenhouse has two door openings and two ventilating windows in the opposite ends. Side ventilating windows are supplied following the customer s request. 6 Technical certifi cate Operation rules 1. Before the start of operation, the greenhouse should be assembled and installed as prescribed in the manual.. The greenhouse cover surface should not be removed for the winter period if snow load is limited. If the greenhouse is left unattended for the entire winter the customer should either remove the cover surface or estimate the possible snow load. For the frame assembled with all parts including strainers and braces, the maximal snow load begins when the layer of snow weight is 450 kg per 1 sqm of horizontal surface, which corresponds to.5 m of fresh snow and 1.1 m of settled snow. 7 Warranty responsibility Warranty responsibility 1. The manufacturer shall be responsible for the complete set of parts for the greenhouse frame.. The manufacturer shall be responsible for the greenhouse endurance in the specified weather conditions. 4. Time period for making claims is 4 months after the day of purchase. Warranty provisions Warranty responsibility shall not cover the following cases: 1. Installation of the greenhouse in violation of the manual provisions.. Violation of operation rules. 3. Unintended use of the greenhouse. 4. Deformation of the greenhouse due to soil movement. 5. Floods, hurricanes and other natural disasters. The manufacturer shall retain the right to make changes to the greenhouse design. 6

8 Installation manual for Greenhouse ARROW introduction 1. General view of the frame is given in Picture 1. Parts should be installed in such a way that side selves of the profile are facing the surface cover. The frame is assembled of numbered parts.. Symbols: -arrow shows the direction of installation as per schemes in the manual. Some parts may have spare holes which are there due to uniformity of parts. 3. Parts are fastened by putting profiles together and fastening them with screws and nuts through the holes. When joining parts in profile-toprofile way it does not matter which of the joined parts is above. 4. When assembling be careful not to damage the parts as they do not have sufficient endurance before the whole structure is assembled. Use supports (e.g. chairs) at interim stages of assembly to make sure the frame is lifted steadily and evenly. To make sure holes coincide when assembling complicated joints, use a 5 mm thick nail or a cone-shaped hand-punch. When assembling the frame parts should be joined through all holes as prescribed. A simplified fastening of parts with only one or two screws is the violation of assembly rules and the ground to relieve the manufacturer of the warranty responsibility. 11 Installation steps Perform the assembly next to the installation site of the greenhouse. Use the line again to check the diagonals so that they are equal and adjust the corners of the frame if necessary. Level the frame by adding some soil into the holes or deepening the holes in order to make sure that the lateral parts are straight, horizontal and parallel to each other, and that the arches are straight when seen from aside. If it is necessary to adjust arches, loosen the joints between beams and arches, level the frame on the ground and tighten the screws again. Put soil on the stands of the frame after fixing lower wire bindings on part 3 (Piс.10) Assembly arches pairwise by joining them to each other with the ridge strap and brace 9. 15 Surface cover cutting and fitting Warning! When cutting the surface cover in windy weather, fix the edges of polycarbonate sheets with a load. 1. Cut the surface cover sheet for butt ends. To do so, cut from a polycarbonate sheet a piece m long (see the cutting line in Pic.13). To create a pattern of surface cover, put the cut-out piece to the assembled butt end of the greenhouse and, without taking off the protective fi lm from the polycarbonate, draw the pattern lines on the surface cover sheet for parts and 4н, oversized (Pic.14). When drawing, the edge of the sheet should exactly coincide with the edge of parts 7 and 8, while the upper edge is 30 mm above the lower edge of part 5. Cut out the pattern. The protective layer is usually at the side with the inscriptions on the transport fi lm. The fi lm on the other side of sheet is transparent. After marking the sheet, but prior to its cutting, make a mark on the protected side of the sheet for each piece: after removal of the transport fi lm sheet sides are not visually different. The transport fi lm is stripped from both sides immediately before fi xing the cladding on the frame. Sections of polycarbonate with open honeycombs should be covered by adhesive tape
