We want to know about the origin of the wood products we source as well as about the social and environmental conditions in which they have been produced. To help achieve this goal, we have established the Good Supplier Programme. Over the years, we have also worked actively with some of our suppliers and have assisted them in obtaining third party verification of legality and certification. General Precautions: Make sure that there is enough ventilation possible behind the cladding, a minimum space of 1 cm is needed. (Generally determined by the thickness of bearers). The backbone must be naturally sustainable wood (durability class 1). It must be anchored to the wall by appropriate fasteners to enable the bearers to be mounted. A distance between bearers must be 40 to 60 cm. They must not impede the ventilation cladding. Minimum section of bearer is usually 27 x 42 mm. or inclined direction. For a horizontal installation, please ensure that the tongue is always pointing up, and the groove down. Remember that the lowest cladding board must be more than 20 cm from the ground. Include an expansion joint (+ / - 1mm) while installing the cladding. They are fixed with stainless steel nails/screws (+/- 26 nails/screws / m ).
