8 Slator The SLATOR fastens to a steep asphalt shingle or slate roof and firmly clamps a ladder in place near the roof eve. Installed properly, the SLATOR meets OSHA 1926, 1910 and ANSI Z359.1 fall protection requirements for one person with gear up to 310 pounds. The utility of this two-in-one fall protection tool is that it can be used to support a roof top ladder or simply as a compliant tie-off point.
