The three layers can be described as follows: The bottom layer comprises of prime grade UPVC. The middle layer is made of modified PVC. The top layer implements Geloy Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (Geloy ASA) This sort of structure allows Tufloy PVC roofing sheets to withstand extremities of outdoor conditions such as temperature extremes from -40 degrees to 80 degrees, high humidity and any sort of chemical adversities and the growth of fungi. It also provides better sound insulation than its counterparts and facilitates 35% better thermal insulation than metal and glass sheets. 4 INSTALLATION INSTALLATION GUIDELINE In order to allow normal linear heat expansion of the sheets, it is necessary to place the sheet with a 10mm drill bit, then fasten the sheets with 6mm fittings. We advise you not to use direct fixings without piercing the sheets with self perforating screws because doing so prevents any dilation of the sheet. Do not use a hammer to put screws in. Original fittings supplied by us must always be used The over hang is 15 cm from the bottom purlin. The vertical overlap is at least 20cm, and fittings must be fixed on every peak of wave. Considering the safety problem, it is only allowed to walk on the purlins during installation and maintenance while not walking directly on the roofing sheet. Installation work cannot be processed when temperature is below -5C or in rainy, snowy or heavy windy weather.
