2 What makes our Nottingham rods so special? Both our Nottingham traverse rods & poles are always made from a solid piece of Canadian Hemlock.There are never any joins. This means stains & finishes appear even over the entire length of the pole. The exceptional beauty of the wood grain is prominently displayed through our stains. Each pole is hand sanded, and hand rubbed between finishing coats creating a deep lustrous furniture quality finish. Unlike other wood rods, our Nottingham traverse rods are made from an entire round pole. A quarter of the pole is routed to accept the track. This gives the appearance of a complete wood pole and hides the track. Double traverse brackets We are pleased to offer a new double traverse rod. Our system uses high quality KS rods for both the front and back poles, so both your over and under-drape will operate smoothly. Also the projection on each rod can be separately adjusted. Please call for pricing information. Traverse Rod with Rings Our new traverse rod with rings is now available. The superior technology is based on the KS track system. Our special carriers allow for smooth and reliable operation. Pricing is based on the cost of our "ring-less" system plus the cost of the traversing rings. Custom Painting We can custom paint or stain your drapery hardware order to your specifications. We can add gold or silver highlights or accent any portion of the hardware in a gold or silver leaf paint. We will paint in any Benjamin Moore or MinWax stain you require. 9 What makes our Nottingham rods so special? Our Nottingham rods are made from a solid piece of Canadian hemlock wood. There are never any joins. This means stains & finishes appear even over the entire length of the pole. The exceptional beauty of the Hemlock grain is prominently displayed through our stains, creating a deep lustrous furniture quality finish. Our standard Nottingham finishes are Mahogany, Walnut and Oak. Other finishes available by special request. Use the Min-Wax wood finish stain chart (on pine) as your color guide. Duke Finial Duchess Finial Unlike other wood rods, our Nottingham traverse & baton draw rods are made from an entire round pole. A quarter of the pole is routed to accept the track. This gives the appearance of a complete wood pole and hides the track. Viceroy Finial Earl Finial shown unfinished. We use a high quality KS track for installation in our Nottingham Forest rods The rod has a single channel track for smooth operation, even over long distances. It is available as either a traverse or baton draw. Tracks can be up to 20' (oneway) or 40' (2-way) with no joins. A narrow 1" x 1" track profile with centered carriers allows the drapery to be installed with the track completely covered. The baton draw track uses ball bearing carriers that are only ½ inch wide therefore the stack-back is very small. Snap-in slides are used in the traverse rod. Wall brackets are available in 3 ½ " or 6" projection for single rods. Double rod brackets are also available.
