With the new design of VariMill II ER, tool life can increase by up to 40%! These end mills are designed for titanium and stainless steel work piece materials. Target Application The VariMill II ER is designed to provide the highest Metal Removal Rates (MRR) and extended tool life in the most demanding materials in the Aerospace Industry. Apply the new VariMill II ER where increased feed rates and MRR are required. These end mills are designed for Titanium and Stainless Steel work piece materials, for roughing and finishing with one tool. Target Markets All Aerospace customers and tier I, II and III subcontractors. Manufacturers of Titanium and Stainless Steel components for aerospace segment. Competitors The new VariMill II ER can provide measurable increases in tool life against the competitors such as Melin, OSG, Iscar, Walter and Helical Solutions. How to Beat the Competition The VariMill II ER can provide an increase of up to 40% in tool life by utilizing the Eccentric Relief Grind. The Eccentric Relief design increases tool life through higher edge stability allowing higher feed rates with less cutting forces and pressure on the cutting edge by tailoring axial and radial rake angles. Safe-Lock prevents end mill pull-out on costly Aerospace components. By using the available Safe-Lock standard shank option, additional stability and concentricity will increase tool life.

Appearance and Packaging 5 Flute Eccentric Relief design coated in the familiar TM AlTiN coating. Shank options include Weldon and Safe-Lock as standards. Safe-Lock shanks will feature 3 spiral Grooves on ¾ (18mm) and under; and 6 spiral Grooves on all tools over ¾ (18mm). Packaging in familiar clear plastic endmill tubes with WIDIA-Hanita logos and markings.
