It's singers, songwriters, musicians, and artists joining together with your mission to impact your community one life at a time. 100% of the proceeds go to help the homeless. The purpose of the TOGETHER CD project is to raise awareness and money for the cause of homelessness by reaching people directly on an emotional level through music. The TOGETHER CD includes 11 powerful songs based on the personal stories of homeless people, and the volunteers and staff of gospel rescue missions who reach out and help them every day. The music and lyrics will inspire, challenge, lift up, encourage, and call the listener to action. In addition, the TOGETHER CD packaging can be customized by Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM) member missions so the CDs can be used as donor gifts and a fundraising tool. This packet includes specific instructions that lead your mission through the TOGETHER CD customization and ordering process. Instrumental versions of the songs are also available to all AGRM members for use in their marketing, promotional and fundraising efforts. TOGETHER - Pg. 1

3 Customization and Ordering Process FIRST CONTACT US! To get started please to let us know you re interested in having custom TOGETHER CDS developed for your mission. We re happy to address any questions you may have regarding the CD customization and ordering process. Also read Pg. 9 of this document and submit a completed TOGETHER CD music licensing agreement form. Please allow at least 20 business days total from the time you start the customization process until you receive your completed CD order. 1. CUSTOMIZE Please review the TOGETHER CD customization instructions (Pgs. 3-5). Then the files detailed in File Specifications (Pg. 4) along with your mission s billing information to the following individual at Range NW, the design firm contracted for this project: Eden Irgens eden@rangeus. CUSTOMIZE Every element of the TOGETHER CD packaging was intentionally designed to convey, in a simple yet powerful way, the unique stories of the homeless and also highlight the truth that every person has the ability to make a positive difference in their lives. Furthermore, several of the packaging design elements can be customized so TOGETHER CDs can be effectively used as part of any mission s local fundraising and marketing efforts. These elements are: Ø CD Case Mission Logo Front Cover We recognize and respect that each mission has its own branding and brand standards. With over 300 possible mission partners to consider, however, it was necessary to approach the CD packaging as a one-off branded item in order to maintain the overall integrity of the design. Each mission logo will be converted to the red color used in the overall packaging color scheme. Narrative Inside Pocket Flap You can replace Union Gospel Mission with your mission s name on the narrative located on the inside pocket flap. Contact Information Back Cover Your mission logo (as part of the CD title) and website can be inserted on the back cover of the CD package. Ø CD Booklet Insert Mission Logo Front Cover Your mission logo (as part of the CD title) can be inserted on the front upper right corner of the CD Booklet Insert. Again, the logo will be converted to the red color used in the overall packaging color scheme. Mission Story Page 2 For convenience, we are calling the narrative on this page the Mission Story. Portions of the Mission Story can be edited to reflect your mission s services and the populations you assist. Editing guidance is provided in Attachment 1. TOGETHER - Pg. 3

5 CUSTOMIZE (continued) Mission Photograph Page 3 Your mission should provide a high resolution, artistic photographic to accompany your Mission Story. All photos will be subject to review and approval by the contracted packaging design firm based on how well they blend with the creative vision for and intent of the overall packaging design. Contact Information Page 19 Your mission s contact information address, phone number, website, and social media sites can be inserted on this page of the CD booklet. Ø CD Label Logo and Website Your mission s logo will be included as part of the CD title. Your mission s website can be inserted on the CD label near the project website (togethercd.com). File Specifications Please adhere to the following specifications when submitting the required files to the design firm for your custom TOGETHER CD packaging. Insert your mission s name where indicated. 1. Mission Logo Illustrator (.ai) file Please title the file: Together_(Mission Name)_ Logo 2. Contact Information Include all information in one MS Word file. Please title the file: Together_(Mission Name)_Contact 3. Mission Story See Mission Story document (Attachment 1). MS Word file. Please title the file: Together_(Mission Name)_Story 4. Mission Photograph Minimum size: 5 inch x 5 inch, 300 dpi,.jpeg or.tiff format. Please title the file: Together_(Mission Name)_Photo Please package all of the above files together in one folder, title the folder Together_(Mission Name), and submit as directed to the design firm contact noted on Pg. 5. 6 CUSTOMIZE (continued) Design Contact, Turnaround Time and Fees Range NW is the creative firm handling customization of the TOGETHER CD packaging artwork. You will provide all of your mission s content files to Range (as noted in File Specifications on Pg. 4), and they will provide you a proof for approval before any of your packaging files are sent to the printer. The cost for Range NW to customize the TOGETHER CD packaging for your mission is $380 for 4 hours of design and coordination work. Range NW will bill you directly for this amount, and only bill you for the actual time used. Additional fees will apply to any time over this amount needed to complete your custom CD package design. 7 2. ORDER YOUR CDS Crystal Clear CD is the approved CD replication and packaging firm selected for this project. Your mission will order from and provide payment directly to Crystal Clear CD. The following prices have been negotiated for all AGRM member missions ordering custom TOGETHER CDs from Crystal Clear CD. Ø 1000 qty - $ 1,885.00* Ø 2000 qty - $ 3,119.00* Ø 3000 qty - $ 4,289.00* Ø 4000 qty - $ 5,596.00* Ø 5000 qty - $ 6,504.00* *Plus shipping. No tax when shipping out of state. If you wish to sell your custom Together CDs through CD Baby (see Pg. 7) you will need to include a unique UPC barcode for the packaging. For an additional $19, Crystal Clear CD can generate this barcode graphic for you and provide it directly to Range NW to incorporate into your custom CD artwork files. Turnaround Time: Your order will ship approximately 10 business days after the date on which Crystal Clear CD has received all of your final files from Range NW and received payment for your order. 8 3. MARKET YOUR CDS CD Baby ( is a popular online global retailer of music by independent artists. For legal reasons, CD Baby is the only retail site approved to sell and distribute physical TOGETHER CDs. Digital downloads of the music are not allowed. You can view the original TOGETHER UGM (Union Gospel Mission Inland Northwest) CD posted for sale on CD Baby here: A large percentage of the proceeds from every CD sale through CD Baby goes back to the artist or, in this case, the mission selling its custom TOGETHER CDs through the service. CD Baby s fees are very reasonable $49 for initial setup, then $4 for each CD sold. To eliminate any confusion or competition, the approved TOGETHER CD price for sales through CD Baby is set at $14.99 per CD. Proceeds from CD sales are deposited directly into your mission s bank account. NOTE: Missions can set their own unit price for custom TOGETHER CDs sold in their local markets. To market your custom TOGETHER CDS through CD Baby: 1. Secure a 960 x 960 pixel, 300 DPI image of your mission s custom TOGETHER CD cover from Range NW. 2. Collect the following information required to set up direct payments from CD Baby: Ø Payments Payable To Ø Address Ø Pay Point: $25.00 Ø Method Of Payment: ACH Ø Bank Name Ø Routing Number Ø Account Number 3. the CD cover image and bank account information to info@togethercd.com. 4. You ll be notified once your CD Baby account is set up and provided information on how to submit the required initial inventory of five (5) TOGETHER CDs to CD Baby. (When those initial CDs sell out, you ll be notified to submit more.) 6. Once your CDs are in stock at CD Baby, you ll be provided a link to your CD Baby TOGETHER CD ordering page for use in your mission s marketing efforts. TOGETHER - Pg. 8

10 LICENSING AGREEEMENT FOR TOGETHER MUSIC USAGE While some missions might not customize TOGETHER CDs, most will want to use the music in their marketing and promotional efforts. The following legal licensing agreement (next two pages) addresses all rights to and usage of TOGETHER CD music, including instrumental versions. Each mission s legal representative must sign the agreement and return it to Bing Bang Boom! Inc. ( info@togethercd.com) before any music usage begins. After Bing Bang Boom! Inc. receives your mission s completed agreement you ll be provided information on how to download instrumental versions of the TOGETHER CD songs. IMPORTANT NOTE: This licensing agreement is different from the one your mission will be asked to complete if you choose to customize TOGETHER CDs. TOGETHER Pg. 9

11 LICENSING AGREEMENT This shall serve as a licensing agreement between Bing Bang Boom! Inc. ( BBB ) of 3515 North Harvard Road, Otis Orchards, WA USA and The Association of Gospel Rescue Missions ( AGRM ) Member ( MEMBER ),, located at regarding the album TOGETHER (the Album ). 1. In consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, BBB will provide CD copies of the Album and grants to MEMBER the following rights: A. MEMBER may play the music at their facilities, use it at their annual meetings, banquets, community events, etc. B. Use it in any videos they make for their mission, use it for radio and television background music for their ads and public service announcements, phone on-hold, etc. C. Use partial clips of up to 0:60 (but not full songs) on their websites and social media for streaming only and not downloading. 2. MEMBER shall not have the rights to party. A. Manufacture or reproduce copies of the CD and distribute any copies to any third B. Re-record new vocals over the instrumental tracks and make new copies, or alter them in anyway other than adding voiceovers for the videos they produce pursuant to paragraph 1, above. C. Send the files to itunes, Apple, Amazon, YouTube or any other form of digital distribution. D. Use the character designs, trademarks, logos and/or any other elements: (a) associated with the Album; (b) that are confusingly similar to the foregoing or which tend to trade on the goodwill or commercial value of the protectable rights therein, in any manner whatsoever including without limitation, record covers, jackets, labels and/or advertising or exploiting the rights granted herein. 3. BBB hereby warrants and represents that they own and control all rights necessary for the grants to MEMBER and that BBB has the right to enter into this Agreement and to grant MEMBER each and every right granted herein. 4. This license is binding upon the successors, assigns, heirs and representatives of the parties hereto. TOGETHER Licensing Agreement, Pg. 1 of 2

12 5. Miscellaneous: a) No use of the Album is authorized until and unless you execute and return to us a copy of this Agreement. Furthermore, this license shall terminate in its entirety if it has not been executed by you and returned to us within thirty (30) days of the date of this Agreement. b) This licensing Agreement is made in the State of Washington, United States and its validity, construction and effect shall be governed by the laws thereof. c) All rights not specifically granted by us hereunder are reserved by us for our use and disposition, any time, anywhere. d) In the event that either party hereto files a suit in any way connected with this Agreement, the unsuccessful party shall pay to the prevailing party attorneys' fees and any and all costs incurred. e) It is understood by the parties hereto that all the remedies provided for in the Copyright Act and otherwise provided by law shall be applicable to this Agreement. Any such remedies set forth herein shall be in addition to such statutory or other remedies. f) A waiver by either party of any term or condition of this license, in any instance, shall not be deemed or construed as a waiver of such condition for the future or of any subsequent breach thereof. All remedies, rights, undertakings, obligations and agreements contained in this license shall be cumulative, and none of them shall be in limitation of the other remedy, right, undertaking, obligation or agreement of either party. g) This license constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and cannot be altered, modified, amended or waived, in whole or in part, except by a written instrument signed by the party sought to be bound. Should any provision of this Agreement be held to be void, invalid or inoperative, such decision shall not affect any other provision hereof, and the remainder of this Agreement shall be effective as though such void, invalid or inoperative provision had not been contained herein. After editing, please submit all three complete paragraphs to Range NW as outlined in File Specifications on Pg. 4. NOTE: The quote from Rachel at the top of the Mission Story cannot be edited, replaced or removed. (Mission Story) Over 300 homeless men, women, and children walk in the doors of the Union Gospel Mission daily. Some are cold and hungry and need a hot meal and a warm place to stay. Others are addicted, tired and desperate for change. Like Rachel, many have hit bottom and need a loving hand to help them up. Thankfully there s a place to turn. Since 1951, the Union Gospel Mission has been a refuge for individuals who find themselves in crisis situations. Partnering with the Inland Northwest, the UGM operates without any government assistance. Food, clothing, shelter, recovery programs, medical care, and much more are offered free of charge to the homeless. This album is a tribute to all who come together to serve the poor and homeless and want to make a lasting difference in others lives.
