By Motion Fitness In order to operate DDR you need the following items: 2 Commercial Quality DDR platforms Sony PlayStation2 DDR Software i.e. DDR MAX2 (we recommend DDR MAX2 for the starter game because it is the most popular) Television In order to have group dance classes or group exercise classes you need the following: DDR Group Dance Pads. Set of 6 These turn your 2 DDR platforms into a group activity for 8 people We have seen that all the kids follow the steps on the screen for the actual players, so while they are waiting in line they are doing the steps and following the music. These also help to keep the kids in a line for their next turn A set of 6 is $295 DDR Group Program: DDR usage can accommodate 8 players at one time. 2 game users and 6 practice pads help with quick rotation. DDR program goes through approximately 30+ songs per hour (max. 40 songs) Each session includes 2 people that do 2 songs. = 60 song total usage per hour. (Two people get on the platforms.
