1 PRIVATEER PRESS EVENTS TEMPLECON 2010 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS PREPARE. TempleCon 2010 boasts the best schedule of Privateer Press events to date and is officially supported for the first time by Privateer Press. That s right, the people that have brought you the best in gaming for the last few years have stepped up to the plate and provided a HUGE amount of prize support for your enjoyment. Privateer Press staff will be in attendance, and they will all have armies at their disposal for some casual gaming: Jason Soles (Lead Developer) David DC Carl (Playtest Coordinator) Simon Berman (Staff Writer) Jack Coleman (Press Gang Quartermaster) PREPARE. This year s schedule marks a significant transformational step in the evolution of Privateer Press events at TempleCon. We have also changed the face of Eternal War no longer a qualifying event, this casual play experience now offers significant rewards for playing your favorite games against new friends from all over the globe. Eternal War has also birthed a monstrous twin in the form of All You Can Eat for the casual Monsterpocalypse player. Just like last year there are a series of qualifying events that will send the best players to face off against each other in the Championship events on Sunday. Eternal War Players must register with the organizers to receive an achievement tracking sheet. Players do not have to submit any army lists; play whatever you like all weekend! Players earn tickets for the achievements listed below. You DO NOT earn more tickets for wins than losses, just for playing the game. Individual tournament games are not counted towards achievements. Cannot play the same opponent twice in a row. Tickets can be redeemed for Eternal War prizes from the event organizers. 6 EVENTS PRIVATEER PRESS Remember that you can combine achievements by efficiently planning your matches. For example if you play a 35 point game (1 ticket) against an opponent from a different state (1 ticket bonus) you will earn 2 tickets. Remember that some achievements can only be earned once, but they will stack with other achievements. For example if you have played against 4 different opponents that are all from different states/countries (Achievement #8 x 4 = 4 bonus tickets) in a 35 point (1 ticket), 50 point (2 tickets), 75 point (3 tickets) and 100 point (4 tickets) game you will earn bonus achievement #5 (1 ticket) for a total of 15 tickets. You would also be only one game away from earning achievement #s 13 (1 ticket) and 17 (2 tickets), so long as you can find a different opponent from a state/country that you haven t played yet in game #5. That fifth game would be worth 4 tickets (achievements 8, 13, and 17) to give you a total of 19 tickets! Achievement #s 1,2,3,4,5,13,17 and 8 (x5) = This total could be increased even further if any of these games were played using the scenario on one of the various scenario tables (Achievement #s 6 and 7)! So long as you can find new opponents from far and wide your earnings will continue to increase with ease.
