5 ECKO is based on the X13 Algorithm which uses 13 rounds of hashing with 13 different hashing functions such as blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd, echo, hamsi and fugue. The Algorithms X11 to X17 were created as GPU focused Algorithms but ASICs (Application-specific integrated circuit chips) were eventually introduced to mine coins with these Algorithms. X13 is considered energy efficient when compared to earlier Algorithms like Sha256 and Scrypt. However, we do not have the issue of getting to use ASICs to get hold of ECKO coins. More on this is detailed in the following sections. ECKO is a POS coin which means no mining involved. POS stands for Proof of Stake. A wallet stakes coins (or fractions of a coin) based on coin age of the coins in the wallet. The coin age for ECKO is 24 hours. The wallet will stake coin(s) when the coins in the wallet mature. Why is the coin not being made minable? Miners can use X13 ASICs and there is a possibility that one individual can mine the majority of the coins and can manipulate the future of the coin resulting in destroying the core idea of the coin, the community. By making it a POS coin, the manipulation by the miners is avoided. 5

6 For a blockchain to be stable, nodes are required. Nodes relay the transactions but, these nodes do not receive any incentive for supporting the network. This is where masternode comes in. The masternode provides additional services on the blockchain including relaying of transactions. To a layman, the terms nodes and masternodes may sound complicated and confusing. It is simple to understand. Consider masternodes as servers. For example, when a person accesses large websites with millions of users at the same time, the site does not lag. The reason is that they not only have large dedicated servers but also have them in different countries. When a user opens these sites, he/she is connected to the nearest server based on the geographical location thereby making the access faster. Similarly the masternodes are servers, the more servers in the network, the more stability it provides to the blockchain. Masternodes help enable the features like Privatesend, Instantx in the wallet for all people using the wallets and not just people hosting the masternoders. With all the features of making the transactions faster, secure and truly anonymous, a cost is involved. The coins set for a masternode are locked. The masternode rewards are higher than regular proof of stake. The masternode server needs to run 24/7. One can always rent a VPS for less than $5 a month to host a masternode. There are also web hosting service providers who provide the first year of hosting for free.

8 How can one become a co-owner of ECKO? 150 shares are available to purchase before the ICO begins. Each share has 100,000 (one hundred thousand) coins. One may purchase more than 1 share, but is limited to a maximum of 5 shares. Each share costs BTC. The other benefits for coowners include but are not limited to percentage distribution of ECKO from fees received in the products launched in the ECKO Platform. Co-owners will also receive coins from the distribution of unsold coins in the ICO. Coins are distributed through pre-ico, ICO, bounties, and airdrops. The pre-ico is the opportunity to become a co-owner of the coin and is limited to a maximum of 150 shares. This has already been sold out. 9 The coins purchased in the pre-ico and ICO will be distributed to members wallets in a phased manner. After the ICO ends, 10% of the coins owned by the member will be transferred every Wednesday and Sunday. This is done to reduce the dumping when ECKO gets listed in an exchange. The members backoffice in the ECKO Coin website shows the coin pending to be distributed. Once the distribution to the wallet begins, members will see the number of coins in their backoffice reducing which simply means members are receiving the coins in their wallet. Due to co-owners and members requesting for airdrops, ECKO has been allotted for the same. This is subject to increase depending on the conversion results. The allotted coins are taken from the unsold coins in round 1 of ICO and were earlier moved for bounties. Each member requesting for airdrops will be sent 1000 ECKO. This is strictly limited to 1 airdrop per member per IP address. Members violating the 1 airdrop per IP address rule will be removed from the airdrop during distribution. The airdrops will be distributed to the members wallets one month after ECKO is listed in a full exchange. 19 There are quite a few rewards planned every month to keep people using ECKO continuously. The rewards are in the form of bonuses, high reward contests, developer contests, rewards for testing and hackathons. Bonuses are coins given to random members everyday. These bonuses are different from the percentage bonuses given when purchasing ECKO in the ICO rounds. 21 PEER TO PEER EXCHANGE The second core product is the peer to peer exchange. People around the world have been finding it hard to buy crypto currencies with their local currency. The peer to peer exchange in the ECKO platform will solve this issue by providing an opportunity for members to buy and sell ECKO and few other crypto currencies with FIAT. Members will also be able to exchange ECKO with few other popular crypto currencies.
