3 1. Introduction MoneyBall was established as an important social mission of building a gaming platform that guarantees the most fairness and reliability through innovative ideas and a bold vision. Now it is easier than ever to prove reliability and fairness through the benefits of blockchain technology and MoneyBall is a platform that allows users to easily and safely operate online gambling sites. We want to make into reality a unique, creative and reliable platform that surpasses anything seen in the online gambling market until now. To traditionally operate online gambling sites, users have had to obtain online gambling licenses established by governments and local authorities of each country as a prerequisite. However, in addition to having to undergo strict checks by auditing institutions to acquire the license necessary to operate an online gambling site, users also have to pay high expenses such as license fees, corporation tax, gaming taxes, etc., which has contributed to the rise of illegal vendors who are not licensed. Unlicensed gambling sites often do not pay out winnings, illegally use third party software, and leak personal data, and it is because of this that the online gambling market is becoming increasingly less trusted or viewed as fair. However, blockchain technology can solve all of these problems that the market is facing. That being said, many similar gaming platform projects have already been established, but to limited success. These include great and ground-breaking projects that make the most out of blockchain features to meet user needs. So why didn t these ground-breaking projects, that promised to fix all of the problems of the online gambling market, ultimately succeed? We believe that this actually has something to do with the people using and operating the platforms. This is because no matter how good a project is, if the marketing is not strong enough, no liquidity is generated in the platform. The role of marketing is to help the user see that a product has value. We developers are tasked with transforming an idea into reality while a marketer s job is to show what is attractive about a product. Combining these forces makes it possible to generate the power to bring about innovation. Several projects that incorporate royalty programs under the concept of creating marketers have existed before, but many of these projects have not been successful. We have designed our 3

4 product with WLSDK (White Label Software Development Kit) as a marketing strategy solution that aims to increase user engagement. See 6.1, White Label for further details. We may not be the first gaming platform, but we are a unique blockchain-based project that provides a one-of-a-kind RNG (Random Number Generator), through a trust-less and scalable architecture, with potential for enormous growth. Our project has received praise from many investors during our closed private sale, raised 5,000,000 USD, and already started the development of our proprietary RNG. We believe that we will become the de facto standard for the future online gambling market as both a system vendor and supplier. 4

5 2. What is MoneyBall? We are developing a distributed gaming platform that will make reliable and fair online gambling a reality through blockchain technology. By building a random number generator program called an RNG (Random Number Generator) that is approved by an independent third-party auditing institution, MoneyBall will improve fairness by providing all users with an equal chance and record this by smart contract. See 5-2. RNG (Random Number Generator) for further information As winnings are paid immediately by smart contracts, problems such as non-payments are eliminated. Furthermore, the security found in our winnings management system is realized by our reliable trust-less hybrid model that allows users to store capital in a unique multisig wallet. However, to achieve further progress, we believe that we require even more unique ideas. Business models utilized in the past by other projects have not been able to reach all potential users. In particular, these projects have not been able to provide benefits that interest millennials, who value anonymity, trust, and fairness. When traditional centralized management has taken place in games from the creation stage all the way to the sales stage, you get a diverse range of game designs influenced by the culture of the country it was created in, and we believe that this creates a limit when it comes to majorly scaling up the platform. We have made it so that the WLSDK can be provided to users all over the world as a solution that allows them to easily operate reliable and fair online gambling sites without a license. When new online gambling sites cannot gather a large number of players, they have found it difficult to compete against major brands, but MoneyBall executes an RNG protocol on a smart contract, so it is able to easily prove its reliability and fairness to players. This allows operators to solely focus on developing graphics, direction, and gameplay for the user to enjoy. The biggest feature of MoneyBall is that users can operate an online gambling site that can prove that it is both reliable and fair without having to reveal their identity, as everything is executed anonymously. As a gaming platform provider, MoneyBall has made it so that users can operate an online gambling site, which used to require difficult to obtain licenses, both anonymously and without a license thanks to its provision of the WLSDK, which combines a design that focuses on user experience along with an ideal rewards program. By enriching the market with attractive, completely anonymous online gambling sites, players should be able to further enjoy their gambling. 5

6 3. The online gambling market 3-1. Licenses Currently the number of countries that issue gambling licenses is increasing year on year and some have begun to issue government-approved licenses with comparatively lax standards. However, in order to prove fairness and reliability, it is essential to obtain a stricter governmentapproved license. Licenses are awarded when certain standards set by the issuing authority are judged to have been met. These standards may include the following: Has the operator secured enough capital? Does the operator have the management capability required? Does the operator use software that meets the standards required to secure fairness? Does the operator have a framework that complies with the law? Does the operator have a framework that is not conducive to money laundering or associated with criminals? These are but a few examples of the standards that must be met and audits are usually further subdivided, creating a stricter test, with licenses that can take over half a year to acquire. Naturally, an online gambling site may not be operated during this auditing period, and this can result in long periods of missed opportunities. Even after a license is obtained, an expensive license fee must be paid and a gaming tax supplied from a portion of the profits. Spot checks of operation practices will also continue to occur afterwards. With MoneyBall, users can avoid investing so much time and money into getting a license and get their site started easily. 6

The size of the online gambling market The first online gambling license was issued by a chain of small islands called Antigua and Barbuda in the Caribbean in Since then the online gambling market has continued to grow and was worth $44 billion USD in It is predicted to reach $60 billion USD* in value by When asked about other similar blockchain projects, the image of sports betting which has become synonymous with the predicted market, may spring to the minds of many. However, lottery-based online gambling sites are more commonplace (casinos, lotteries, bingo) and represent 62% of the entire online gambling market ($27.33 billion USD.) It seems that any online gambling site that has a lottery-base that can be easily played is able to attract users. As the online gambling market continues to grow rapidly, many operators would like very much to get involved, but the market is becoming less safe and losing trust from players due to the illegal and fraudulent activities that take place within it. As we at MoneyBall continue to make online gambling sites easier to operate, we will also provide a ground-breaking solution to prove the reliability and fairness to players. * 7

8 4. The MoneyBall solution The solution offered by MoneyBall is to provide reliability and fairness through its utilization of a blockchain-based RNG. Operators create the games they will be operating under a smart contract. Because of this, the results of the game will be recorded on the blockchain, making it possible to eliminate all types of cheating. Meaning the player can check that the game is fair and play it without worry. As operators can entrust the core functioning to MoneyBall s unique RNG protocol, they can focus their efforts on real management work, such as marketing and promotions. For transaction processing, a completely anonymous environment based on DASH source code has been constructed which is easy to use for both operators and vendors. By tackling one of the most important issues for online gambling sites which is building trust with the players, MoneyBall will establish a complete delegated-task system that allows operators to concentrate on site planning and management. 8

9 5. Technology and anonymity 5-1. Smart contracts With MoneyBall, everything takes place via smart contract and is recorded via blockchain. By using blockchain technology, every single process that takes place within MoneyBall can be audited. Players will be able to check results and awards won in real-time, as well as track their winnings, and be able to easily check whether their winnings are fair. Furthermore, operators are able to customize their royalty programs, which can be automatically implemented via smart contracts RNG(Random Number Generator) RNG refers to a statistically-sound, high-performance random number generator program which has been tested to ensure in-game fairness through its high level of protection and auditing technology that does not allow artificial manipulation or changing of settings. Traditional online gambling sites allowed operators to individually manage their RNG, but as the RNG protocol is executed via smart contract with MoneyBall, the processes are distributed and the user is able to see everything, ensuring fairness. Once the RNG has been activated, then even we will be unable to change anything Anonymity MoneyBall will construct a purely anonymous environment based on DASH source code. Because of this, operators can anonymously operate online gambling sites that ensure reliability and fairness for people from all over the world without being restricted by national laws and regulations. With MoneyBall, operators have the strength to take on all kinds of challenges and the business opportunities that follow. 9

10 The ability to gamble anonymously will also be attractive to players as it will allow them to gamble more freely with the amount of money desired Token management Traditional online gaming models have seen players having to send money to the operators in order to play the games. This opens up opportunities for fraud. In addition, even if an online gambling platform is constructed and operated on a blockchain, there is still a centralized manager. When this manager is entrusted with capital or private keys, this opens up the project not only to internal theft of capital, but also attracts people looking to hack into the system and steal the private key. MoneyBall provides a solution to all of these issues by using blockchain technology that focuses on creating a more secure environment. When a player buys tickets, these are stored in a unique multisig wallet via smart contract, and capital is automatically allocated by a smart contract that manages the gambling result. Our multisig manages capital through multiple accounts including those of the operator who sells tickets on the online gambling site, players who buy those tickets, and master nodes excluding those owned by the operators* (multiple and set randomly). *See 6-3. Master nodes for further information. Through blockchain technology, we, in addition to site operators, can prove that we have no control over the capital. Through this we are able to provide a trust-less environment that eliminates all fraudulent actions. 10

11 6. Achievements Achievements are what we call users who hold a large amount of tokens, in this case over 5,000 tokens, in their achievement wallets. The achievement wallet is different to the regular wallet and is designed exclusively for usage for staking purposes. Once the Achievement level is reached, users can operate online gambling sites anonymously as White Labels on MoneyBall or gain profits by contributing to transaction processing as a master node. Attaining Achievement level means users are incentivized to prevent the devaluation of MoneyBall and any tokens they may hold White Label MoneyBall utilizes the WLSDK (white Label Software Development Kit) so that operators can seamlessly provide users from all over the world with an online gambling site that is both reliable and fair. If the number of tokens held in the achievement wallet falls below 5,000 then the White Label contract will be terminated. As most of the business processes are automated due to the use of blockchain technology, operators can reduce manual labor and ticket issuing costs. In addition, operators can operate global-scale online gambling sites without having to acquire a license and will not need to spend large amounts of money paying license fees and gaming taxes. Online gambling sites that provide an anonymous environment through a DASH source code base will be attractive to players, meaning high customer acquisition for operators. An ideal royalty program is built into WLSDK and operators can freely adjust the profit settings to a range between 5-15%, making it easier to overcome the initial barriers faced when starting up. 11

12 6-2. Profit allocation All ticket sales that take place on White Label-operated online gambling sites shall be conducted in tokens. When players buy tickets, profits shall be allocated via smart contracts. The capital will be distributed as follows: As seen above, 7% of profits shall be allocated by smart contract based on the amount of tokens held by the token holder. 12

Master nodes Once the Achievement level is obtained then users can participate in the master node network. master nodes have been established to make the speed of MoneyBall possible and 95% of the transaction fee is split between them as compensation for supporting the immediately completed transaction. The transaction fee is allocated as follows: 5% of the transaction fee is burned as needed. This helps the token value continue to rise. 13

14 7. The MoneyBall blockchain MoneyBall places great importance on being able to prove to the player the reliability and fairness of online gambling. To do this, we are developing a blockchain to construct a trust-less environment through a distributed system with the speed required to satisfy user experience. To keep everything anonymous, MoneyBall uses a transaction format called Darksend, which is based on DASH source code, and by combining this with an RNG protocol on the main blockchain, all online gambling processes can be managed with smart contracts. In order to make things 100% anonymous, we are looking at also incorporating the Zcash anonymity technology ZK-SNARK (Zero-Knowledge Succinct Non-Interactive ARgument of Knowledge) into the design. Furthermore, by constructing a master node network with speedy response times, an essential component of user experience, we can complete transactions immediately. The master node network consensus algorithm utilizes PoS and transaction fees are distributed among the master nodes as rewards. By making everything open source, the users will be able to keep on upgrading their WLSDK. This means that MoneyBall will operate automatically. 14

16 8-2. Token distribution Prizes from MoneyBall MILLIONS MINI shall be allocated by issuing new MOB tokens. There will be some investors who fear the dilution of MOB tokens through this issuing. However, the increase of users holding large amounts of MOB tokens will lead to more Achievements, and as a result of this will lead to an increase in users either operating their own online gambling sites or forming the core of the MoneyBall platform by becoming master nodes, etc. This will generate liquidity in MoneyBall and allow MoneyBall to escape the restraints of the traditional online gambling market, which will help the market make huge leaps forward. 16

Capital distribution Capital required for the development of MoneyBall: $8 million USD All of the token sales revenue that exceeds the amount required to develop MoneyBall will be added to the MoneyBall MILLIONS* prize pot, a draw that will take place shortly after launch. Prize money from MoneyBall Millions will be paid in MOB tokens, so once the MOB tokens are listed on the exchange (expected to be January 2019) they will be bought back from the market while consideration is given to market impact. MoneyBall events MoneyBall will hold two events, MoneyBall MILLIONS MINI during the token sale period, and MoneyBall MILLIONS immediately after launch MoneyBall MILLIONS MINI MoneyBall MILLIONS MINI is limited to token holders who bought MOB issued during the token sale and is a lottery-style game that will be open until December 21st, Winnings will be awarded as MOB tokens. 18

19 During the lottery, five numbered balls and one colored ball will be drawn and users can win prizes from Level 1-8 based on how many numbers match. MoneyBall MILLIONS MINI Prize Allocation The winnings for prizes 1-8 are fixed and this amount will be awarded to all winners. Winners will only be allowed to claim the top prize level achieved and may not claim multiple prizes. *Any MOB tokens obtained through the MoneyBall MILLIONS MINI draws shall have the same value of normal MOB tokens and shall be used as such. Tickets As shown in the table above, entrants who hold 100MOB or more shall be allotted tickets for free. This only applies to purchased MOB tokens, and extra tokens acquired as bonuses during the token sales period, or during AirDrop or won as MILLIONS MINI rewards will not add towards entitlements to free tickets. 19

21 9-2. MoneyBall MILLIONS MoneyBall MILLIONS is a lottery game that is limited to holders of MOB tokens issued during the token sale. Prize money will be allocated from the amount of money raised in the token sale that exceeds the $8 million USD required for the development of MoneyBall. 21

24 11. Final remarks We are very much hoping for growth in the online gambling market and the growth of MoneyBall. And to achieve this, we do not believe that we need to remain at the core. Once MoneyBall is launched and continues to be upgraded with the new brand of creativity possessed by each user, various functions will be added, allowing it to evolve into a completely new platform. This will grant benefits to all users associated with MoneyBall and the platform will be automatically operated by this new generation of core members. MoneyBall hopes to be able to emulate the achievements of the first cryptocurrency Bitcoin. By aiming for this, we hope that we can become the de facto standard for the online gambling market. 24
