Head scientist Woo-seok (JUNG Jae-young) is promised funding from a mega-corporation only if he safely completes a test flight. In desperation to keep the project alive, Woo-seok, along with his research partner Young-eun, make the risky decision to test the machine themselves and travel to 11 A.M. the next day where they discover the research facility in ruins. All the scientists have disappeared and someone is out to get them.

Anticipation is very high for South Korea s first ever time traveling sci-fi thriller 11 A.M. directed by one of the country s leading storytellers KIM Hyun-seok. The film is Kim s fifth feature length film and his first time working in the sci-fi genre. Thus far Kim has been well known for directing original romantic comedies which showed careful attention to storytelling. South Korean moviegoers are getting excited to watch not only the first South Korean time traveling sci-fi thriller but also Kim s new take and direction of the genre.

He is driven by the belief that this machine is his only chance of ever meeting his deceased wife again. The mega-corporation underwriting Woo-seok s endeavor is running out of patience and gives him an ultimatum and a deadline to prove that the time machine actually works. Woo-seok successfully time travels to the next day but discovers that everyone at the research lab has vanished. Woo-seok takes the CCTV recording and travels back in time in an attempt to save everyone from this ominous future. JUNG Jae-young JUNG Jae-young is a top actor who has appeared in many of Korea s highest grossing movies, including KANG CHUL-JOONG, WELCOME TO DONGMAKGOL and SILMIDO. Ever since his debut in 1990, he received a total of four Best Actor awards at various award festivals in South Korea. After starring as a detective in his recent movie CONFESSION OF MURDER, Jung is coming back this fall as a scientist obsessed with building a time machine. Although Ji-wan and Woo-seok are good friends and have known each other since college, Ji-wan begins to have antipathy toward Woo-seok s arbitrary actions. CHOI Daniel CHOI became well known for his performance on the hit TV sitcom HIGH KICK! 2 and the movie CYRANO AGENCY. 6 CAST and CHARACTERS Fulfilling her father s dream of time traveling - Young-eun Co-researcher Young-eun has known Woo-seok for a long time. Woo-seok was her father s best research student while he was working on building a time machine. Unfortunately, Young-eun s father passed away before he could finish his lifelong project. After hearing about Woo-seok s endeavor to continue the work in building a time machine, Young-eun joins the team to finish the job that her father was not able to complete. KIM Ok-bin KIM began her acting career with a role in the VOICE (2005), and subsequent appearances include the television drama series OVER THE RAINBOW and films such as DASEPO NAUGHTY GIRLS and THE ACCIDENTAL GANGSTER AND THE MISTAKEN COURTESAN. Kim has received several award nominations, and won Best Actress at the 2009 Sitges Film Festival for her role in THIRST (directed by PARK Chan-wook). 7 ABOUT THE DIRECTOR KIM Hyun-seok KIM Hyun-seok is well known for his previous works - CYRANO AGENCY (2010), SCOUT (2007), and WHEN ROMANCE MEETS DESTINY (2005). KIM was awarded the prize for best new director at the prestigious 2003 Paeksang Arts Awards and has since received several awards for best screenwriting. 11 A.M. is South Korea s first ever time traveling sci-fi film and was selected as The Most Anticipated Upcoming Movie of November 2013, in an online survey conducted by the leading Korean portal NATE and movie site MAXMOVIE. With 11 A.M., Kim admits to stepping out of his comfort zone to direct a thriller for the first time, and a sci-fi thriller at that. While unlike his past experience in directing romantic comedy and melodramatic movies, Kim was eager to bring a fresh perspective on the sci-fi thriller genre.
