Bracewell Cattle will bring bulls back to the ranch (Tioga, Texas) at no additional charge for pickup within 7 days of the sale. If additional trucking is needed please see Bradley Bracewell. LIABILITY All persons attending the Bracewell Cattle Spring Bull Buyout Sale do so at their own risk and the sellers assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that might occur in, or around the premises. SCHEDULE Tues. April 4th: Cattle available for viewing all day Wed. April 5th: 8:00 AM - Coffee and Donuts 1:00 P.M. - Sale Starts *Lunch is Available at the Livestock Commission on site restaurant. A $5 Lunch Plate will be offered for all persons attending the sale. HEALTH All bulls are guaranteed to be breeders within six months of sale. Fertility guarantee does not cover a bulls ability to produce freezable high quality semen suitable for artificial insemination. All bulls will be eligible for Interstate travel and a Health Certificate will be provided. SALE CONDITION & TERMS Standard sale conditions prevail. All sales are Cash/ Check and settlement must be made at the conclusion of the sale. Please make checks to Cattlemans Livestock Commission. Cattle will not be released until settlement is made. Announcements made from the block will take precedence over printed data. 3 Dear Fellow Cattlemen, Again, we would like to personally invite you to the 4th Annual Bracewell Cattle Spring Bull Buyout. This past year has been a bit of a whirlwind for us and we apologize for getting this booklet out to you with not much time before the sale. We have formatted the booklet a little different this year with our time constraints, but feel it may make it easier for you to sort through the bulls and search for the criteria you are wanting. We are still awaiting some registration numbers but ALL bulls will be registered and papers available to transfer. Also, throughout the catalog you will see a variety of prefixes so we wanted to note that all BLB, TML, and LC prefixes were bred and raised here at the ranch. These bulls run on a 25+ acre pasture and we use Purina Accu Ration Forage Extender, a forage based product, to grow them out. We feel confident that these bulls are able to transition to the real world because of their ability to have free access to move about and graze in pasture conditions while on feed to maximize their gain and growth. As the cattle market has seen some changes here lately, it s even more important to add top quality bulls to your program to maximize your calf crop. Feel free to come by the ranch prior to the sale to view the bulls. If you are unable to attend the sale, please let us know, and we will assist you in any way possible. Bradley & Laci Bracewell TERMINAL SIRE INDEX (TSI) The AICA Terminal Sire Index (TSI) utilizes economic and management descriptions of your ranching operation, along with EPD on available Charolais bulls to assist in identifying the most profitable sires for your unique operation. TSI generates dollar indexes per terminal progeny produced on bulls in the AICA database, ranking them for profit potential. The dollar indexes are to be interpreted much like a single trait EPD. For example, if sire A s index is $ and sire B s index is $200.00, then we would expect Sire B s offspring to average $8.34 more net return ($ $191.66) than Sire A s offspring.
