3 SINGLE LINE FILTERS DIPLEXERS & MULTIPLEXERS Bolt-In Filters Solder-In Filters Eyelet Style/Filter Pins Diplexing A Diplexer is a frequency division multiplexing passive device. Diplexers combine two different frequency bands onto one common port. A low pass fi lter and a high pass fi lter can be diplexed as can be two band pass fi lters or a band pass fi lter to either a high pass or a low pass fi lter. The key requirement is that the pass bands of the two fi lters to be diplexed do not overlap. Multiplexing Multiplexing is the combining of multiple (more than two) band pass fi lters to a common port while maintaining the fi lter performance of each band.
