2 CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTABILITY This component has been judged on the basis of the Standard EN :2010 and DIN EN ; VDE : : Only most safety relevant tests were performed according to above mentioned standard as on costumer request (Clause 4.4, 5.1.3c), 5.3, 6.2, 6.7, 6.7,6.8, 8.2, 8.3, 10). 1. The Clipper is a passive test probe, with no insulation between In and Out. The unit is only allowed to be used with a 10x high impedance probe. 2. The unit is rated class I. The unit is earthed via the GND of the scope probe. 3. The Clipper is designed for Laboratory use only. Caution: The output of the Clipper is accessible with the standard test finger if not used in accordance to the specification. This was accepted as the unit is only intended to be used by professional personal. 4. The input and output terminals are specified as hazardous and not intended to be user accessible in normal mode. 5. Safety Instructions: safety instructions are stored on Primara server. 6. The product was evaluated for a maximum ambient of 35 C. The temperature test was performed on the bench without forced air cooling. Tests performed (name of test and test clause): see relevant tables below Comment Primara Test und Zertifizier GmbH Gewerbestraße Kaufbeuren TEST SAMPLE IDENTIFICATION The table below is to provide correlation of sample numbers to specific product related information. 5 General remarks: The test results presented in this report relate only to the object tested. This report shall not be reproduced, except in full, without the written approval of the Issuing testing laboratory. "(see ENCLOSURE #)" refers to additional information appended to the report. "(see Form A.xx)" refers to a table appended to the report. Bottom lines for measurement tables Form A.xx are optional if used as record. Throughout this report a comma / point is used as the decimal separator. General product information: The Clipper is designed for observing the Rds(on) of a switched FET, or IGBT. With an Oscilloscope set to 200mV /division, the stability of Rds(on) over a range of 200mΩ to 1Ω can be seen in proper resolution, while the power transistor is switching. The Clipper Test Probe allows the measurement of low voltage signals (below 12V) in the presence of high voltages (up to 1500VDC). No signal conditioning of the input signal is performed. Measurement accuracy of the input signal is >98%. Settling time is around 100nS. Page 5/25
