Cell search Cell search is the procedure by which a UE acquires tie ad frequecy sychroizatio with a cell ad detects the physical layer Cell ID of that cell. E-UTRA cell search supports a scalable overall trasissio badwidth correspodig to 6 resource blocks ad upwards. The followig sigals are trasitted i the dowlik to facilitate cell search: the priary ad secodary sychroizatio sigals. A UE ay assue the atea ports 0 3 ad the atea port for the priary/secodary sychroizatio sigals of a servig cell are quasi co-located (as defied i [3]) with respect to Doppler shift ad average delay. 4.2 Tiig sychroizatio 4.2. Radio lik oitorig The dowlik radio lik quality of the priary cell shall be oitored by the UE for the purpose of idicatig out-ofsyc/i-syc status to higher layers.
