13 Tactical communication in the future (1/2) Innovative and trendsetting technologies COJOT offers VHF/UHF adaptive wideband antennas that allow optimising the matching more efficiently across a wide frequency range of interest. Vehicle and manpack/handheld antennas with active matching: Frequency bands are split into smaller slots and each of these slots is matched separately. Areas that are naturally in tune will be fully obtained and the antenna s overall performance will be improved while additional benefits are gained: Electrical length tuning Extended range or reduced power consumption Smaller antenna designs Better signal quality Concept is applicable to different frequency ranges and antenna types (vehicle/manpack/hanheld)!
