STARTING RESISTANCE FOR COMPRESSORS AND HEAT PUMPS The decentralised use of regenerative energy sources has long been a key component of modern building automation. Power resistors equipped with a fuse are essential for limitation of initial current for compressor motors. PRECHARGING RESISTOR To protect the on-board electronics against overvoltage, power resistors are utilised in modern vehicles for a controlled initial start. BRAKE RESISTOR (LIFTS) One typical use case of brake resistors is for application in hoisting units. These include particularly lifts for persons and loads.
